Any non-stop or direct flights from Rochester to Orlando?

My husband just found out he has to attend a meeting while we are on vacation in WDW in Rochester! The meeting is at 1:00 p.m. If he can get a non-stop or direct flight from Orlando to Rochester and back, he could leave in the a.m. and be back that same night, so he would only miss one day of vacation. If the flights are a huge hassle, he may just go home from Rochester and we will spend the last 2 and a half days of our vacation without him. Does anyone know who flies non-stop or direct between Rochester and Orlando? I hope someone does!

AirTran is the one and only airline that provides non-stop flights from ROC-MCO.

They do not begin service to Rochester until April 9 as this is a new route for them.

They only offer 1 non-stop flight each day, however they do have numerous one-stop flights from ROC-MCO

sorry...i checked their non-stop leaves too late in the day...wouldn't get to ROC in time.

Thanks for checking, but he will be going March 11th, before their service starts. Any direct flights that anyone might know of?

Go to a site like www.expedia.com or www.travelocity.com. Go to advanced search and list flights by time instead of by price. There are connecting flights that should do what you want (depending on how much time your husband has to be in Rochester). Have him check flight schedules from the connecting city. Without luggage your husband might get lucky and stand by for an earler flight (illegal connection).

Jet Blue has flights from mco to roc. But they are not direct. The have a flight leaving mco 3/11 at 6:45 am, arriving at roc at 10:50 am. The return flight leaves roc at 5:05, and arrives at mco at 9:50 pm. The total roundtrip airfare is $241.50. Jet Blue is a wonderful airline. Each passenger gets their own TV. I love Jet Blue.

Thanks for all the responses. It does look like JetBlue is the best option as it is the only airline with direct flights (for now), and the times will work out. Karin, I've flown JetBlue too and I love it, in fact every time we fly my kids ask if we can fly JetBlue and if we don't they are disappointed!
