Any reports of any rack rates rising today like they have with some food and beverage items? Just wondering if anyone has caught this possibility?

Me oh my! I just checked the rates for my May 2020 reservation at POFQ, which I made in late June. The current rate on Disney.com has gone up $25 a night, an increase of 8%-9% from my original reservation. Not sure if it went up today or earlier.

Very glad I have the reservation, but still hoping to find a discount there or elsewhere when and if they come out. $310 for a weeknight at POFQ is steep!

Wow!!!

My CSR reservation made in August is the same. Am i right in remembering they released 2020 hotel pricing in July? If yes, the rates should be stable. Famous last words.

All the values went up by two or three dollars for my stay in Feb/March! I've been checking fairly frequently and today is the first time I've noticed a slight price difference. Not sure about moderates/deluxes since this will be a budget trip for me. Glad the increase is small so I can hopefully still get a good discount soon, but those few dollars can definitely add up over a week long stay.

I think it was in June.

They used to not change one bit once released. Not so any longer. About 2-3 years ago, folks started noticing some significant increases in rack rates well after they were released.

Yep, this used to not be the case. Then they saw an opportunity and took it. Quietly I will say. Long gone are the days of set pricing for the year. Gotta bring in more funds.

I priced out my May trip and it's exactly the same as when I booked in September.

It might depend on room category and hotel, since the discounts are not universal to all rooms/resorts. There are almost always exclusions.
