Any more extensions for free dining plan??

Does anyone know if Disney is planning on extending the booking window for free dining plan offer with all stays up until 9/30? They already extended the "must be booked by" from 6/4 tp 6/25.
unfortunately, we're still waiting for some personal things to sort out before we can book. I know AAA holds reservations for 13 days, but assume that to take advantage of dining plan trip must be BOOKED by 6/25, can't just be held after that date. Does anyone know?

I haven't heard anything yet, so I have to assume that it will not be extended, but you'll know for sure within the next couple days.

Why don't you just book your package now and then maybe you'll know for sure if you're able to go by the time your deposit is due, which is 10 days (not sure about AAA). Even if you don't know for sure by then, your deposit is fully refundable up to 45 days prior to your trip. This way you won't miss out on the free dining if everything works out for you and you can go.

That is exactly what I was going to suggest...booking and then cancelling if now is not the right time for a trip. It looks like the celebration beginning in October is going to be fun as well!

It is only 200 to book package now and you can start your trip on 9-30 and end in october and still get the dining. The balance will not be due until the nmiddle of August. Maybe by then you will now for sure. IF you decide by that date you cannot go then you can cancel and not lose your 200.

I never really paid attention, but I didn't realize the $200 was a refundable deposit. I guess I should read the fine print. Thanks for the information!

It is refundable up to 45 days before your trip. the 45 day mark is when the balance is due. After that there are varying cancellation charges depending on how close you are to your trip. Hope things work out for you. Also if you are going the end of sept to the 1st week in oct, don't forget to order your MNSSHP tickets. In advance you get a discount

Thanks for the MNSSHP tip! DH and I are debating if we want to go or not. We could save the money and stay and extra day.

I did check out the refund policy at disneyworld.com after I read the post. In prior years, I didn't think we would need to cancel, but there is a chance things could changed this year.
