Looking forward to next week's event at AK. I've not seen any reviews from others on here regarding the events, does anyone have any comments? Thanks!

We did the one at MK last year and absolutely loved it! The only issue was it had rained that night, but that actually made the lines shorter for the rides. We also arrived right when the HEA fireworks were starting, so we watched those and then later the DVC fireworks. The food, if I remember was chicken fingers with choices of other things to add (chips, grapes, carrots, etc.). Mickey ice cream bars were also available. We didn't do any of the character greetings because the lines were pretty long.

We had a blast! I'm not sure how the DAK one will be, but the MK one was definitely fun!

I also came here looking for reviews of the AK MM! We will be there next week - hope that it’s great!

I did the AK Moonlight Magic last year and loved it. I met with as many of the rare characters as I could and also rode FOP, Navi River, EE, Dinosaur. I didn't do the Safari since I'd done it several times during that day. It was a very full evening - I was determined to do as much as I could. LOL

The food choices were ok. I had a hot dog, popcorn, 2 mickey bars and a diet coke during Moonlight Magic. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. As it is I'm looking at trying Moonlight Magic at DHS this year and hoping it will be as much fun.

We attended the 3/21 event at the AK this year and enjoyed the evening. The event doesn't really get underway until after official park closing, but once closed there was plenty of characters out, attractions open, and food locations. We only stopped for a hotdog, chips and coke, but there was popcorn and ice-cream around too. there were some other choices for sides with the hot dog, but can't remember .. maybe cookies? they also had a DVC showing of rivers of light. A lot of people were over in Pandora Land, and Expedition Everest. Before the event began, Everest had a mechanical issue whee a train was stopped on the track, so the ride was down for awhile. We did get on about 11 PM, and the ride stopped for a few minutes after going backwards .. we were all wondering if there was going to be another problem, but the ride thankfully started up again and we returned safely...however that experience had us deciding to skip riding again! We went on the safari after dark, and it was interesting ...but not much to see at that time of day. they give you a ticket for a game of chance in dino land, but we found a couple of kids to pass our tickets too. There were lots of DVC people out and about, but we didn't stop to chat with any of them. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We hope to be back at Disney in the future when one of these events are scheduled. We liked this much better than the Christmas parties at Epcot .. those parties really had noting to offer two adults except picking up an ornament and a cookie! They did have Disney personnel stationed throughout the park asking people to show the moonlight magic wrist band given out when you entered the park. I would say based upon the happy faces we saw throughout the park that evening that everyone was enjoying themselves. Disney transportation ruins throughout the event, plenty of personnel at the bus stops making sure people found the correct bus to get back to their resort, as they did double up a couple of resorts that normally have their own buses. I think we waited about 5 minutes to get on a bus back to the boardwalk. Well run event.
