Nothing here, yet. The skies are pretty dark, and there is some wind, but no rain, hail, or tornadoes.

btw, I'm in Warren County.

There was just a tornado in the Northern area of our county a little while ago. I'm not hearing anything about damage from it yet. It looks like we are going to have a long night ahead of us. They are saying that 7 people have died in TN so far.

We're in Nashville, nothing to bad where we are, but bad all around us. We are in a 'pocket' that somehow almost always gets missed. Not that I mind that. My sympathies with all of you experiencing the rough stuff.

We are in SE Tennessee (Cleveland- near Chattanooga) and under a tornado watch until 11. I heard that Vol State got hit and some students were injured. Any reports on that?

We aren't native Tennesseans, but are Tennesseans at heart. PM me sometime I'll tell ya all about that). But parents and oldest sis in Tenn.(and Aunts, Uncles and most cousins) rest of immediate clan in Hurricane prone Florida.

I want to go back to Memphis or Nashville, but man, at least with 'canes you get MUCH warning...

North of Nashville (Sumner Cty) and south (Williamson/Maury Cty) were hit especially hard today. Storms still in thearea and coming, including a whopper over downtown NAshville a couple of hours ago. I'll report later as it shows on the news. Hope all are OK. I live here and our area was fine

Vol State got hit hard most roads in and out of Gallatin are closed for now, too many lines down. There have been 2 confirmed fatalities, but not necessarily at the school itself, just in that general area. Everyone at Vol State is accounted for.

They are reporting about 50 buildings down in Davidson county, most of that in Goodlettsville which took a direct hit.

Good to hear....man stinks being so far away, now I know what my Mom means (she's in Lebanon) when hurricanes strick S. Florida and what she goes thru!

Remember phone lines get "messed up" with any storm (Gosh I know-3 hurricanes whipped mine out for a while-still not right) and the number of folks calling in. I called as soon as I heard, I probably got a jump. Many folks just now getting home from work-and seeing the news, and of course calling.

My family have all been calling each other since so many of us live in areas that had tornados touch down this afternoon. I was really worried about my dd who was a home alone since our house was in the path of the worst part of that storm. All is well for everyone though! Except my trellis, it's a gonner I'm afraid, lol.
