Any Mac Users Out There - Need Points Calculator

Somehow CaskBill's program gets around this by estimating when the various seasons are and what the points are. I've done a work-around though. I just use the 2009 pts. and just pick the correct week days, not worrying about the dates.

I was also going to try out a Mac, but after the news today about Steve Jobs is taking a leave of absence and the stock fell about 10%, I think I am going to sit back and wait.

Did you feel the same way when Bill Gates stepped down from Microsoft?

Honestly, Jobs has been the driving force behind the surge in popularity of Apple, but they will not fall apart without him. I am sure he has laid out his future plans for Apple "just in case."

I don't think it will have any impact on Apple at all.

Hate to admit it - but I did sell the stock we had. I belong to the NAIC - National Association of Investors - two most important parts to investing - when to buy and more importantly when to sell. If I owned Apple stock I would be running a stock selection guide to see if it was time to get out.

I'm more of a "wait and see" girl. Stocks go up and down. While I think there may be an initial drop in Apple stock, I think their products and innovation will keep the stock prices up in the long run.

While Steve Jobs is the face of Apple, there really is an infrastructure in place there - the company will go on in his absence. Selling stock off because he won't be the face of the company or not buying a Mac seems like a waste of time and energy, IMO. The stock will settle down - just give it some time. :hourglass

Welcome to the club! I'm an IT guy and made the switch about 18 months ago. Moving to Mac is the best thing I've ever done. In fact I just purchased my 3rd Mac a couple of weeks ago (a Macbook for my wife and daughter).

Being big Disney people, we always take lots of pictures and video. The Mac manages this stuff wonderfully and make it very easy to share.

Enjoy!

I would love to get some point management program. Now with three contracts I think I may need it. Been getting by so far just jotting it down on a piece of paper.

We have been a Apple house/workplace since early on...

Our first home computer...

Mac Plus with extended keyboard and a Jasime backpack (hard drive)! Wahoo!
