Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

Yes I hear you brumley!!! We are not staying at a Disney Hotel this year either, we are staying at Bonnet Creek, we wanted to try it it looks beautiful. There are 6 of us so what better time to try it!! So am trying to talk dh into having for the full 2 weeks. I know we will have to pay $11. for parking but oh well.

OMG Wisbucky.....THANK YOU SO MUCH :worship: that is fab!!!! So when I checked for the July 18- Aug 1 I got $364. with the codes you gave me (still great price) so what did you do? I put p/u MCO d/o MCO..the dates, times and codes???? My dh doesnt want for the full 2 weeks (doesnt want to drive on vacation...lol), that is why I put in both sets of dates, so right now I have 3 days booked for $117 all incl. I have been looking for weeks :worship:

When I checked for prices I used the times of noon to noon. If you used times that consisted of additional hours beyond so many days you probably did get a different price that was slightly higher. I woudl continue to check on your weekend price as the time gets nearer. You may find that you can get a last minute deal. But I would in the mean time keep the ressie you have for your minivan.

Thanks!! I thought of that too, but it was just a slip of the pen, when I wrote the number down, I missed the last # when I went in and redid it, it came out the same as yours. I did 3:30-3:30 as we arrive at 3pm but if we are late that is ok, I would rather be late than early and have to wait til my time or is that even how it works? LOL!!! :confused3 Still trying to talk dh into renting for the full 2 weeks. :rolleyes1

used the 67 code with the 35.00 coupon at mco 6/3 and drop off 6/10 the weekly rate was 92.07 on the final receipt when I was quoted 92.25 on the site

no problems - EA pick up mid size - Dodge Avenger (had satellite radio too :cool1: )

thanks for the codes :thumbsup2

Oh but we are staying at Disney! (We have a dvc timeshare and so staying on property we are okay with the parking so that helps in the decision too).

That's what made it hard to decide about a rental, I mean we are staying on property and we get the use of it's bus system but when it boils down to it, as I said, the time of year, the recent problems with less buses, means more people on the buses, more time constraints, more headaches than if you used your own car, whether you drive to off/on property hotel, regardless of the cost of gas ($4.57 here in North California)!

Previously we have stayed at Boardwalk and could walk to Epcot & Hollywood Studios so the only concern for transportation was to Magic Kingdom (we usually skip AK) but this time we are staying at Saratoga Springs. I think a car is the better way to go, even with gas prices! ::yes::

A BIG DITTO HERE!

We timed ourselves this last trip in March from leaving MK to BWV. We began the time when we walked out of MK. Taking the monorail to the TTC then the shuttle to our car and headed out to BWV. Believe it or not it took only 30 minutes and we were back at our resort. We also timed ourselves leaving Epcot to get to our car and getting back to our resort was only 15 minutes. Our vacation time is precious and having to wait for buses that at times take forever is just not worth it to us anymore.

Well this year we have decided to try Bonnet Creek, so am nervous about the bus system as we are use to Disney and I dont' want to waste all day waiting around for buses plus I like being able to come and go as I please. Still trying to talk dh into getting for the whole, time I will even promise to drive, but I get all flustered when I dont' know where I am going
:rotfl2:

Ok I was just reading my confirmation letter form National....a few questions. Do you have to print any of these codes or coupons to take to the counter? It says estimate and could change at time of p/u (something to that effect) taxes or surcharges? Do you have to put a cash deposit down?:confused3

I used the codes in March and they worked great. Was torturing myself by entering the WRoNG code this time!!! EEEEEK!

Had to go back & read here to get the right Contract ID (8572957), I had been off by OnE digit! And it's a $200 rate difference. It seems to be almost a miracle to have your rate drop from $350 to $150 w/ the right contract id and coupon codes, w/ all of the inclusions as well! Thanks a million everyone, sorry for rambling!!!

Just wanted to check in and let everyone know....

We used the 67 code last week, along with the $35 coupon & EA, and got a Chevy Impala SS complete with OnStar and XM radio for $92 and change for a full week. No problems whatsoever.

Booked using the 57 code about a month ago for the st.pete/clear water airport (PIE). Picked up and returned the car last week without any issue. PIE is a small airport with no emerald aisle so I had to use counter. The counter person did not question the rate at all. I even called National a week before my pick up date to add a car seat. They added the seat and sent me a new confirmation at the same rate plus the car seat cost.

Ok I know what the 67 code is and what the $35 coupon is..what is EA? Thx :rolleyes1

Kim&Chris...Thank You!!! Ok someone mentioned signing up for that thru mousesavers. I am on there right now and cant find how to do it? Please help. What is it anyway? LOL!!

thank you...ok when joining do I accept or decline the 4 choices? I dont' get an extra when I rent at any other time.
