Sorry to be a bother but.....I have now joined EC thru mousesaver. I already have my van booked for July 18 (5 weeks today...yipee). Do I go into my reservation to put my EC #? THX

You could try it & see if it works. You can also call Nat'l & have them put you EC # on your reservation or you can log in, create a new reservation, then cancel the current one. Because it's easy, I would create a whole new reservation first, & if price is same or better, then cancel the other.

Sorry AGAIN!!!! I am in the middle of making a new reservation..where it says membership # is that where I put my EC #? Also when do I do additional driver? I am adding my dh....thx

Yes, your EC # goes in the Membership ID. Not sure about the additional driver question, I never have one.

Being a member of the EC at National automatically entitles additional drivers that live at the same address as you....thereby spouses.

thank you! So do I have to put additional driver on there with licence # and all that? Sorry dont want to screw up and then have all kinds of trouble when I get there...not good in stressful situations!

You can just show his DL at the exit gate for him to be an addl driver. When they ask in the booking section, they are referring to other addl drivers such as your friend, cousin, mom, etc.
Leave that part empty for spouses.

btw, I always log in to my EC accout prior to making ressies, it just puts all my EC info into the ressie automatically. Doesn't have to be done this way, you also can just enter your EC # too.

You can do on the net as an extra driver but it will cost you like $9.99 a day. Something that is just not worth it in my opinion. You can have your spouse added for free if you are an EA member. I believe you will need to add someone at the counter or kiosk and not the gate.

I just changed my reservation again (the second change) using the 57 code and the coupon stated here. My rate dropped again from 182.44 to 121.62!! I am a bit worried about the contract ID though even though it appears there is no problem using it. I have not cancelled the first reservation though. We are EA members and have been for years. The coupon code shows as a blogcoupon on the reservation page that was emailed to me.
Can anyone help me feel comfortable about using the '57' contract?

I should be fine. I am always leary when the rate changes this much. My initial reservation with National was for 242.00 for the week so I am 50% less at this time!!!! That will help pay for the gas!
