Any luck with HHI waitlist?

We have two 2-bedrooms reserved at HHI for June 5-9; since I now have more points (thanx to the add-on!) I decided to add one more night to our stay! I was able to reserve both on cash, but not points; I'm on the waiting list should they become available for points. I've never done the waiting list before - should I bother getting my hopes up or just save up the cash??

That's exactly the time frame we tried for last year and it's tough. We waitlisted for months for extra days and never got them.

That being said, you already are reserved for the weekdays. If you try and get a couple of days either before or after your current ressie, they will be Friday and saturday. Those should be the easier days to get because the points are so much higher.

I am you get them, because it is a wonderful place to spend vacation. Good luck!!
