Any luck getting A&E or Belle day or 2 before visit?

Somehow 7 dwarf just showed up one day. Got that! But belle and A&E....oh my just driving me crazy. Leave in less than 2 wks. I prob check 3-4 times a day

I agree, I can't believe how hard Belle is to get. I have heard that there is next to no line at standby however. I had decent success looking for singles, but have had a hard time getting them all to overlap

I have belle on a diff day for a time I don't want and I wanna ditch those and replan that day at a diff park. I am holding on tho just in case

We are at WDW. I saw both show up the day before when I was looking at options to switch my fastpasses around. I even picked up A&E for 7 last week...which caused me to cancel my A&E for 9 another day.

Just keep checking. You never know.

There is a Belle for 10/23 11:50-12:50p right now but it's a single. I see some singles come up occasionally for all three but I'm still a little over two weeks out myself.

Definitely search for singles and see if you can tweak times to overlap. Also, I've noticed the hard to get ones are even harder on party nights given the shorter day. On Wednesday Belle is still available where as Thursday I was able to get three overlaps a week ago and now they come up as singles. If you can go on a non party non EMH day or go to the party and maybe try to do a couple of attractions you missed?

Keep trying for Belle. We got that one right away but tried to move times and I noticed there were some days when I logged in it showed nothing at all and other days we could swap if we wanted.

About two weeks ago I got A&E a day in advance for two. I could have done it the day before also but couldn't manage the time.

I got my friends 2 sets of 2 E&A the night before they visited MK. I had been checking every few days for 60 days. It seems to me that about 8-10pm most people are back at their hotels, re-arranging schedules for the next day, so they finally opened up. Keep trying!! You may want to try smaller groups (2) and copying over too.

Just keep checking any time you get a chance. I was able to pick up 5 matching A&E 8 days beforehand. I'm finding a lot of movement about 2 weeks out because people (including myself) are tweaking their plans.

I'm at the world now. Have gotten A&E by fluke the night before while tweaking plans on 3 different occasions (only used one but others showed up as available), always a party of 2. I also wouldn't worry about Belle. Standby waits are lowest I've ever seen. I've even showed up to use my FP+ only to see a non existant Standby line so hopped into that and changed the FP+ to something else.

Another tip is SDMT late at night before close. They tend to post a 40-45 minute wait that's closer to 15-20. Keep riding it twice or three times in the last hour.

A&E though is still longer lines. Up to 90 minutes but usually around 60, which really isn't bad for such a popular M&G. I know it's September / early October, but still it's not that bad. A FP+ is nice but I wouldn't panic about not getting one anymore. I was booking mine during the panic reports of 3+ hour waits. Thankfully I have a longer trip so I was able to get the FP+ for later in the trip, but as I said above was able to see them much earlier than expected!

This may be a silly question but can you look for singles without dropping one of your FPs first? I know I'd have to cancel to book but I just would like to see what's there for A&E to try to get some overlapping times. Do you use the app or the website? Thanks!

I heard through the grapevine there is an A&E cancel board or wait list.
I'm about to give up one of my FP+ for A&E and would love to give a shout out to those who are waiting...any ideas where to find that thread?

We were there two weeks ago, and I had Belle for Tuesday, and Anna & Elsa for Thursday. On Tuesday, I thought I'd be a smart alec and check and see if there was an A&E available while I was waiting for my daughter and husband to come off the carousel...and lo and behold there was, about 30 minutes from right then. I scored it, and then while we waited, my daughter took part in the Sword in the Stone thing and got to be the Hero of Fantasyland.

As for Belle, when I tried to use our FP for that day, it was down, so we got screwed there...but on Thursday, I had gotten a last minute Belle for like 9:30pm...and we just waited in the Standby line at like 2:30 instead. It said 20 minutes, but it was less than that.

Moral of the story? Keep trying!

We were at Magic Kingdom on September 19th, arriving around 1pm (we were staying for the MNSSHP later that night). Went to a Fastpass+ kiosk and got one for A&E at 2:45, although it wasn't something I'd been planning on doing. We went and the wait was 5 minutes, tops, with Fastpass+ and the standby line was about an hour.

Basically, just try, you never know!

Yes, I just posted this under the A&E/SDMT FP Cancellation thread for Oct/Nov..

You would need to have a single person FP to search. So for example, if you all have the same FP go in and adjust time. Then uncheck all but one person and change the one person to an overlapping but different time. That way if you don't find something they can still ride with you but it allows you to search for a single fast pass for something else. If you can find multiple overlaps you can search multiple singles and slowly replace.

Never cancel a FP since you can't just add one back it will make you cancel the remaining two and start over to add one (or you have to call and go thru Disney IT).

Yes, they are under the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Section" and they are broken down by month so just look at the titles of the thread or search "A&E cancellations" and they should come up. Once you find your month subscribe to the thread and you will get e-mails when someone posts.

Good luck! I do believe that people who get the FP+ early book the popular ones for multiple days early on then decide which day actually works better and cancel close to their trip so last minute availability is always possible.
