Any kitty sightings lately?

I know with all the construction with Rivers of America they've probably been scarce. Just wondering if they were starting to come back out or not.

i have not seen any yet, but i'm sure they are hanging around, although only once did i see a cat at disneyland, that waas like last year though. but i do see them alot at DCA. i have like 5 photos in black and white of one of the kitties...

here is a photo that i did of one of the kitties at DCA, i am sure you like kitties if you are asking about them! and yes i added the color to the eyes and nose!

As a cat lover, I'll look out for these but it will make me think of my two little babies in the cattery at home.

I just heard about the cats at DL and thought it was some sort of Urban Legend. Then I read a newspaper article about them and was quite surprised it was true.
Two years ago we were at DL, walking from PPH to the park and kept seeing cats peek out of the bushes. I thought this was so strange at the time but now it all make sense.
I think the cats are wonderful because I am extremely terrified of mice. (except Mickey and Minnie)

oo so am I if they run across my feet i would freak out but i think that what disney does is a very humaine way of getting ride of the mice, plus ok those cats and kitties are taken care of, they shots,food, shelter etc. besides who would want to go to a amusment park and see those huge ugly rat trap things with poison in them, specially when kids are around..

See I figure that they'd be out hunting even more...I grew up in areas where construction was going on, and the mice come out like crazy when their homes are being messed with. Then again, it's the River, and there probably aren't many mice living under the water.


I love the kitties. But I love the itty bitty mice, too (for those who are phobic, don't look in the bushes near Matterhorn or the NOS train station!). But nature is nature!

Recently, I've seen 1 cat that's dark brown w/ stripes & has long hair down by the cast member area of lower Hungry Bear by the river (if that makes any sense) lol. It kinda looks like my neighbor's evil cat, but this Disney one is nice bc it looks @ me when I wave @ it.

It’s probably wondering why you’re waving at it! lol j/k yeah the cats are surprisingly friendly –well not like get in your lap and cuddle with you friendly, but I have a few come up to me from the bushes, but I never could pet them.

oh and that cat that you described i think lives over there, when i am on the train i see a dog house like thing behind the HBR.. i have seen one that is kinda like that same coloring that lives right near the "silver zephyr" ice cream shop/gift shop in DCA. she is always bugging guests for fries!

We saw a huge grey tabby looking kitty a few weeks ago in front of the train by Toontown in DL..Big pretty kitty..Eat those mice kitty..

I had forgotten all about seeing the kitties! We saw 2 of them at The Hungry Bear on May 31 in the evening! They wandered in and walked around the tables for a bit and left.

I've never seen the kittys before probably too busy when at DLR! Leave it to Disney to come up with a solution like this!

I have always looked for them around Hungry Bear but never seen them. We always see the same one (I think) hanging around WWS at the GCH.

Haven't seen the cally at WWS recently but we did see one on our last visit walking around on some of the "rocks" by It's a Bugs Life. It was one I hadn't seen before. Didn't get a picture this time.

Nope it's a different cat, but I've seen this 1 @ the same place before too. The Frontierland 1 looks a lot fluffier.

I think I know which one you're talking about--darkbeer has gotten a few shots of her.

I've had interaction (lol) with a cat down by Hungry Bear, but that was a few years back, and I only saw her (him?) once. I think she was semi long haired, gray. I know I have a pic, I could always try to dig it up if anyone really wants to see it.

I love the mama calico over at WWS. She's there almost every time I go. I've been there once when she had kittens with her, too.. and I don't want to brag too much, but I held two of them, lol!! I could also dig up that picture if anyone's interested, too. But the mama is soo sweet and friendly, especially if you give her food

We saw an orange kitty at Thunder Ranch BBQ a few weeks ago, my kids were so excited.
