We saw 2 of the cats asleep on the island in the middle of the Rivers of America - very cute!

I agree, it's a humane approach to a pest control issue. The cats have no predators in the parks, are treated well, and have all the vermin they want. No wonder they look so big!

Whenever a new one appears, they trap it, spay/neuter, get shots, and clip it's ear so they know it's one of "theirs".

Recently, I've seen 1 cat that's dark brown w/ stripes & has long hair down by the cast member area of lower Hungry Bear by the river (if that makes any sense) lol. It kinda looks like my neighbor's evil cat, but this Disney one is nice bc it looks @ me when I wave @ it.![]()
Sounds kind of like the kitty I spotted in Frontierland in Feb. of 2009. Maybe it's the same one?

Hope we see a bunch there on our trip and would love to be able to pet and talk to one (yes, I'm one of those crazy animal people!
)What a pretty cat-- looks to be a female with all the white and delicate facial features.Saw an orange one at Thunder Ranch about a month ago while eating at the Round-up. My group was sitting right by the rocks and it spent a considerable amount of time just hanging out there (we jokingly called it the mountain lion), looking for either hand-outs (two little girls threw food to it while the CM standing nearby pretended not to notice) or a safe way to get down to the ground. Apparently, there's housing for the cats behind the park.
Here's a picture of the "mountain lion" (sorry it's so big):

I swear the cat posed for the picture. It was just walking along, but as soon as it saw my camera, it stopped and looked right at me, and then moved on as soon as I put the camera down.
Oh, what a great picture! That kitty is beautiful!
I've had interaction (lol) with a cat down by Hungry Bear, but that was a few years back, and I only saw her (him?) once. I think she was semi long haired, gray. I know I have a pic, I could always try to dig it up if anyone really wants to see it.
I love the mama calico over at WWS. She's there almost every time I go. I've been there once when she had kittens with her, too.. and I don't want to brag too much, but I held two of them, lol!! I could also dig up that picture if anyone's interested, too. But the mama is soo sweet and friendly, especially if you give her food![]()
.That's really cool, and I hope it's true, but... I dunno what it means in regards to the pretty calico at WWS who I've personally seen have one litter of babies, and the staff who told me she's had multiple litters![]()

Here a kitty we saw at Hungry Bear in July of last year. He was very friendly, letting us pet him and everything. Was this the one you saw?

Ok this might be a dumb question but what does WWS stand for?

White Water Snacks. It's in the Grand Cali. (I think)![]()
And their California Breakfast Burrito is so good. The prices their are pretty good too.
