Hi I have been to Disney many times, but never in June. We will get therer June 14 leave June 27, we are driving from P.a. Rain will not scare us, but when they say rain do they mean the passing 4:00 shower or can we look foreward to all day rain? Also if antone has ever driven from P.a near lehigh Valley I would love your input as to which way you went. thanks in advance Jill

This will be our 3rd trip in June. There is almost always a daily shower, but it doesn't last long.

Have a magical trip!:D

I'm a vet of multiple June trips. Basically, in several years (twelve, I think?) of June trips, I've seen one or two days of all day rain, none in the last five years. However, I've never, ever seen a day without the 4 PM microburst, so don't forget your poncho. But know that the chances of rain destroying a trip are slim.

noritake1,

We always go in June and the afternoon showers are the norm.
We will be there the same time as you, staying at the BCV. Where are y'all staying?

Have a great trip, it's getting really close!

Jill,

This will also be our 3rd or 4th trip in June to WDW. Like JulesMom said it is usually not to bad. Most times it is just an afternoon thunderstorm that passes through quickly. Last year, we did have a couple of days where is started raining in the afternoon and rained for a couple of hours. But, as long as it was not lighting we were still out in it. We even went in the pool while it rained.

JulesMom,

It looks like we will be at the BWV when you are at the BCV. If you are wearing lime green while you are out and about maybe we will get to meet. I saw you were also going to VB. We will be there June 12-15. Have a great trip home.:)

Hi, we are also going in June (19-27), staying at WL, ASMus & then the BW. My Daughter's dance team is performing in Magic Kingdon on 6/24 (just a performance) over by Space Mtn.

I have read that it is usually 90 to 100 degrees and very humid is this true? I guess the rain shower in the afternoon if it is this hot will feel pretty good.

Is it real crowded in the parks towards the end of June?

Can wait to go it will be our first time staying at WL and BW. We had reservation for POR but got a called we had to change and for a little extra a night we choose the Boardwalk Inn.

Have a great trip

We are going June 14-21.

Last year, we went the same time, and there was more rain than usual (AKA non stop insane rain showers once 3PM hit)

We have been many times in June and July and yes there is a chance of an afternoon shower and sometimes and early morning shower. But we always go on to the parks and enjoy. Just remember when is does rain the park thins out considerably and we always plan on eating during those times too! Also after it rains it cools off and you feel refreshed and ready to go till closing!

We're going June 20-27. The first two days at the Poly and the last five at BWV. This is our first June trip and I'm concerned about heat, rain & crowds as well. But, I'm sure we'll have a blast no matter the conditions. Just happy to be going on our first trip home after buying DVC!

Bring along some extra shoes/sandals. Then if one pair gets wet, you have the other to put on in the meantime. Plan on getting a little wet.

We went last year in June for the first time(we always go in May) and it did rain almost every day we were there. Some were passing showers others were downpours. We still got to do what we wanted but they did shut down some attractions due to lightening.
We will be driving from PA also on the 20th and will be in Disney on the 26th and 27th. We always shoot down 95. My husband is the main driver/navigator and isn't here to ask more specific instructions so if you need further assistance, let me know and I'll get back to you later.

We always go at the end of June and first of July...will be there this year 6/27 thur 7/4....

It always rains some..the only year it didnt was when they had the bad forest fires...you couldnt buy a rain storm then...very hot and smokey...

We also usually go in May but with school this year, we had to change to June. We are at the HRH - June 7-10 and onto to CBR at Disney June 10-17. Can't wait!

We'll be there from the 8 through the 18. I don't mind the quick showers. Last year we said we have to remember ponchos and an umbrella because we thought maybe it would be interesting to walk the AK trails when it's raining. Everybody will have cleared out and we'd like to see if the animals react. That reminds me, I better get shopping. We don't own ponchos.

6/25 to 7/2 at the Polynesian. Have been to WDW 5 previous times, all in June. Rain is just something that we deal with; it's never been a problem.

We'll be there June 11 - 22. We are staying at Fort Wilderness! Can't wait! :)
