Any June trip people out there?

This year we get there May 31 and leave on June 6 to come back home. We are in Indiana so we normally take I-65 to Nashville TN. Then I-24 to I-75 and then to I-4 and then into Orlando. We are flying this time though so no need for the long drive.

As for the rain, this is our 3rd June trip and so far we have only experienced short rain showers lasting no longer than 30 minutes or so. We have only once experienced a total washout that started about 3:30 in the afternoon and lasted around 6 hours. We were just unlucky that trip.

We will be at the All Star Music from May 29-June 5 for our 1st trip!!!!! I'm so excited, as I haven't been since 1984 (8 years old) and my GF hasn't ever been. Yay!!!!!!

If your interested in the weather for any time of the year go to www.wunderground.com. There you can go to historical data and put in the day and year and it will give you the max temp, the min temp, the median temp, dew point, precipitation. You can see what it was like last year and the year before to get an idea. You can even compare it to other times of the year. Its pretty cool. You may be able to do this at other weather sites as well.

We'll be at BCV 6/22-6/28 and BWV 6/28-7/2. We were there earlier in June last year and we had a couple of days with on and off rain. Only one day did it rain a lot througout the day. We spent most of that day in EPCOT, which worked out well. We spent the PM making the rounds at World Showcase, the daughter doing KIDCOT and my wife and I doing "beverages". Something different in every country. It rained through most of the afternoon into the evening with a few breaks and then it almost stopped completely for Illumninations. Walked out of the Rose and Crown where we had a nice late snack and my daughter and I sat at one of the outside table with an unobstructed view of the show. A lot of folks had left because of the weather. The rain shouldn't stop you. As other posters have said there's so much to do, just make it into an opportunity.

We will be at the ASMO on June 7 and the Poly June 8-18!!! We plan for the rain and just go with the flow. Its WDW who cares. Besides, the rain always cools those hot summer afternoons down. It makes for less humid nights as well. Oh, and I have my lime green mickey's ready. Hope everyone has a great trip!!!

aroundtheworld - you will be at HRH at the same time as BobNC's family and my family. That is so funny - all the times I have been to Disney, we have yet to meet any fellow dis people. I hope we run into each other. BobNC said he will be in Cabana#1 on June 7.

My family checks in June 7-10. Then we move to CBR from June 10-17. Can't wait!!!!!!

We went the last week in June 2002. WE NEVER SAW SO MUCH RAIN!!! We are Disney veterens, it rained so much it was funny. When we got to Yaht and Beach the valet said to me I hope you like being wet, and that it has been raining for the past 10 days. I know it was unusual, we are actually going back the same time because we figured the weather could not be that bad again.

Hey Noritake1....we're a little south of you in Chester County but our route is probably somewhat similar. Out of western Chester County, we head down Rte 10 and go into Cecil County, MD.....where we catch Rte 95. From there, it's a straight shot to I-4 in Florida. For us, it's a 16 hour ride...straight through. I have seen some post recently where folks are taking Rte 301 around Baltimore into Virginia....north of Richmond to Rte 95....looks like an option.....just not sure I trust it or not as I know nothing of that road.

We'll be at OKW but we'll miss you as we aren't leaving until the 27th. We're staying at All-Stars for one night then checking into OKW. I'm ready....this PA weather has been pretty sad for spring, hasn't it! Much too wet and chilly....

Doing the single digit dance!

We leave May 29th. We are staying at HIFS for three nights to visit relatives. On June 1, we meet up our friends (two families) from Arizona, and head over to Vistana Resort for USO/IOA/Sea World/water parks for a week. Then we head into OKW in a Grand Villa for a week at WDW. One family has never been to WDW; it should be a lot of fun. 7 kids and 5 adults......uh oh!!!!!!!!
