Any input on the Titanic Exhibition?

and found it to be a very informative, enjoyable, and worthwhile visit. If you are definitely interested in learning more about the Titanic story along with its' passengers in addition to seeing some of the ship's artifacts being recreated in a life-like fashion then you will likely find it a great way to spend an hour or so.

The attraction most notably includes a number of tour guides dressed in period costume escorting guests through a series of settings that have all kinds of items on display (even a recreation of the grand wooden staircase with the massive chandelier atop the ceiling similar to the recent movie) that depict the experience of being on the ship while retelling historically significant accounts and giving background details.

They also have a very impressively decorated gift shop that has a large collection of just about every imaginable souvenir that is related to the Titanic in one way or another. So, I would reccommend it for a one day visit while you are in town; we plan on going back at some point to compare to our last visit.

Hope this helps; also you can do a search at the top of the board on this place to read more comments about it because it was discussed previously.

The Titanic is an extremely well-presented and thoughtful exhibit, thanks largely to the 'character' guides, who make the whole thing come alive. I still find it a touch macabre (1500 people died, after all), but it IS a fascinating experience from start to finish (watch out for the 'real' ice!).
