My daughter is doing her Social Studies project on Disney around the world. Sounds fun, but is going to be lots of work. Any good ideas for the backboard? She has done a WDW specific project and now wants it to include all of the parks, tying in a worldwide theme.
I have seen some Epcot disigns by Natalie that had Mickey dressed in a variety of clothing from other countries. I know she is really busy right now and I tried to enlarge some, but they were too grainy.
If anyone can help, we would really appreciate it. DD will be sure to include you in the bibliography! Thanks!

bump...anyone have any ideas on where I can find the clip art like Natalie uses in some of her Epcot Disigns?

Natalie's DISigns should be plenty big enough if you are saving the fullsize image and not just a thumbnail. Did you verify that you are downloading the full resolution image?

I also have a DISign for each country in my Epcot folder if you are interested in checking out...

The epcot passport may be nice to use. You could cut off the journal or write facts on it and post both sides. Just an idea.

Thanks for the ideas! :thumbsup2 I will check my printer settings for Natalie's images because it sometimes has a mind of its own . She really liked the Mickey heads with the flags on them. We would like to use them for the backboard of her project if it ok. I am going to try to make a Hong Kong one to go with France and Japan for the parks in other countries.

I can do any flag Mickey Heads you might want. Besides the 11 at Epcot I've already done non-Epcot countries Brazil and Israel.....let me know!!

Marion, Thank you so much! It you have time, could you do one for Hong Kong? I was going to try it, but now she tells me that they moved the Social Studies fair up two weeks, so we only have a little over a month to get this all together.:scared1:
I also have to tell you I love your MVMCP disigns! Every time I think I have one picked out, you do another one and I keep changing my mind. That may be a shirt I don't make until the night before we go! :santa: Thanks, Michele

minnie - I'm not help - but I'd LOVE to see pics when your dd gets finised with her project. I think it is a very interesting topic - was she allowed to choose from anything? WHat grade is she in? I just think this is a brilliant one & need to file it in my memory if we ever have to do one. But sadly we haven't so far - we're stuck with the war reports & all that stuff - nothing fun like this.

The categories that we have been able to tie Disney to are: Economics, US History, and are now working on World History. They are very broad overall and you can incorporate many different topics. She is currently in 9th grade, but has done Disney projects all through middle school. I will post pics in about a month when it is all finished.

Marion, Thanks millions! My daughters comments are, "Tell her I said Thank You, that is cool." As she walked away to get lunch I heard her say, "This is going to be so neat." I will post a picture once we get the display all put together. I know the backboard will look terrific! You are so appreciated!
