Any hints on getting a reservation?

Hi guys,
We are trying to book a vacation with free dining from Dec. 5th - Dec 12th, but we have been told all the values are booked for those dates, and the only thing available is CBR.

I have tried Disney themselves, Visa Card, AAA, and a travel agent. I also have tried to book a room only rate (KHP) with no luck.

Any other ideas? I have to be back at work the 13th, so I am stuck that way.

It's Pop Warner football week and they usually fill up the values, especially Pop. Maybe closer to the date some rooms will open up, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

If you're planning to upgrade from QSDP to DDP then you might as well book the moderate. It'll be pretty close in price. If you want a fridge as well then the moderate might even come out cheaper.

I contacted Dreams Unlimited... That Saturday (5th) is the pain. There are not even moderates available. :-(

Just have to say that that's not excatly correct -- Pop Warner stays at the All Stars (sports in particular) and CSR this year.

The 45 day mark for your check in date is 10/21. That is when package balances are due in full. There may be some cancelations so you may have some luck closer to that date if people cancel or do not pay for their package. We are staying at POP the 6th - 16th...so if you are able to get into POP we will see you there!

noticed that the week is now off the dates listed for free DP commercials in our area & the room only discount was long gone for deluxe that week. I just went & checked WDW site & all i see listed under FDP is 5 night stay value or mod for

October 2, 2009 to November 24, 2009

curious, i did try & price it out using the FD link & it did produce a plkg @ deluxe (poly, GF) & SSR though, odd

keep ur eyes out for possible new code once the current one expires & as stated prior, keep checking for cancellations

Try making 2 ressies....your first one for a room only on the night of your arrival and the second one starting the next day for the package that will give you free dining. You might even try 2 different resorts. Play around with the dates using that sort of idea.

Chances are it's just the 5th that is blocking you out of a reservation. Can you alter your dates at all? Have you considered doing a split day between what is available and what you want? Chances are you'll pay lots more for the available room...
Or have you thought about staying in one of the DTD hotels for that night? I suppose if you're planning on doing Magical Express, then you wouldn't be able to....
