Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

As for the BOG reservation, I've tried quite a few times and could never get one but today is my 60 days left mark and it let me pick any day that I had a room reservation for.

I don't need a reservation because we *gasp* don't like the lunch menu but I was playing around just to see what it would do.

Are you at 60 days or less?
 
not sure what is needed for a group of 10....you have the room ressies for all 10 people? Can anyone confirm if she puts in all 10 as family/friends can she make ressies for all of them? I have also attached our tickets to MDE...no idea if all 10 must have linked tickets or not to get a BoG ressie as we did attach tickets for everyone.


Do you need tickets linked for all people to get a BoG ressie?


As for not liking the menu- I'm not a huge fan either. Would rather get a burger at the plaza but I will eat cardboard just to hang inside BoG. HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Which reminds me- time to cancel the plaza now that we have BoG.
 
Don't kill me but we have evening ADRS for BOG again this trip so that's why I skipped on the lunch ones. Otherwise I would totally be there!!
 
Go to MDE. Attempt to do online check in. Then go back to reservations, hover over 'modify check in'....there will be a number in the lower left that is part of the URL. Most seem to start with a 4 at this time. Use that number.

No, you cannot make ressies for someone just because they're on your friends/family list. They must be in the room whose confirmation number you use to log into BOG.
 
Thanks!! Dumb question ??? Where do I find the reservation id?? I have my confirmation number but I don't think that's the correct number to use. Thanks

I used the long number listed under my MB (after you click on the "personalize MB" link from the main menu).
 
If you refresh the page when you are choosing BOG res times, it will offer you different times to choose from. I just kept refreshing until I got the time I wanted so that our two groups could have the same time.

Awesome tip! Right now our two groups (which my kids are 3 out of the 5 people in group #2, so I'd really like to be able to eat with them) have only a 5 minute overlap and I did not know if they was enough to get us seated together. Will try tonight for a closer time! BTW if you have a time slot of say 1:05 to 1:20, can you check in at any time between those times or are you expected to be there by 1:05?
 
OK, so now I have one group for 1:30-1:45 and the other group for 1:35-1:50. Should this be close enough for us to be seated together? No matter how many times I refresh either account, I just cannot get the same exact set of times for both. It is like they are on two different time loops.
 
Even if you have a MB from a previous trip, they have not added the parade and firework options for the month yet.

Just show up together at 1:35. It is quick service at lunch so you will choose your own table.
 
I'm 42 days away from arriving at the Pop on Nov 4th. Nothing on the customizing MB front yet. Got a BOG FP+ though.
 
Newbie here. I actually read thru all 75 pages of this thread yesterday....good thing I don't like football. :) Anyway, I have a reservation for Pop starting 11/28 - 12/5 w/ 7 day park hoppers included. Like the others I don't have the option to customize my bands yet. I'm 66 days out so I wouldn't be able to get FP+ even if the system was working. My question is that when I log into MDE, I can see my ressie and everything looks right, but when I get to the link your tickets.....I don't actually have tickets. The confirmation # I have doesn't work either. I booked through a friend who is a Magical Moments Vacation Specialist. Will she get them? I'm used to the old FP system, but can imagine FP+ might be helpful with an arrival day of Thanksgiving day. If I can book Soarin for that afternoon, I'll be a happy camper. Just want to make sure that if/when the option to pick FP+ opens up, I'll be good to go. Is the fact I don't have tickets already linked going to hose me up. Thanks!

Did you book a package or a room-only reservatin? If it is a package then you should be able to link the tickets that come with that package. I would call your TA friend. If she doesn't have the ticket numbers she can call Disney for you and get them.

If this is a room-only reservation you will need to purchase tickets separately and then link them to your MDE account.

You will not be able to make any FP+ selections until you have tickets linked to your MDE account so you definitely want to get this sorted out.

Thanks MouseMom....I booked a package. It is not a room-only ressie. I can see the 7day hopper tickets are there on the main page, but then when I go into the separate link tickets place there is nothing there. That's why I'm confused.

I had the same issue until I paid off the total balance of my trip.
