Any Good Prices on North Face?

I am going to try to get DH a North Face jacket for Christmas. He's the only one in the family that doesn't have one! I have bought all the others with really good sales but I don't seem to be able to find any right now. I may have to wait until after Thanksgiving for some better sales but I thought I better start looking now!

Not that this is North Face,but I bought DS19 a Chaps brand jacket the other day at a local Mom and Pop store that looks just like the North Face. It was $69 and they had them for 20% off!! I was a happy girl!!

North Face is one of those "premium" brands thats hard to find a sale on, most can sell it just fine at retail. They may even restrict it like Oakley so everyone has to sell at the same price. That's why most people that sell it have a cheaper line of the same stuff or their own brand like REI does.

I agree with these and would add travelcountry.com. I purchased several NorthFace items last year and got exceptionally good prices. You may have to watch them for a little while though.

There's a little local store in my town that has a pretty big internet business selling North Face, Carhart, Colombia, Marmot and other similar brands. You can find some super clearance deals sometimes and there is a "Deal of the Day" where you can get different merchandise at significantly discounted prices. A lot of their merchandise is free shipping too. It is kinda hit or miss with the clearance stuff, but its worth taking a look now and then. I got my bf a pair of $125 Keen boots for $70 last Christmas from the website! The web address is www.getzs.com

I just got an adult womens Khumbu North Face from Backcountry.com for $47.97. All the colors except black were on clearance. It was a great deal -- I added a cheap waterbottle and got free shipping over $50.

I got good deals last year on Denali fleeces for me and DH from travelcountry.com.

Ladies - you might be able to fit into a kids which is a lot cheaper.

I went to Dicks Sporting Goods to try them on. I think I ended up buying a kids X-large from travelcountry. I normally wear a medium in women's.

I just purchased my boys 2 Denali jackets from sportsbasement for $60 each!! Oh & since I'm only 5'2" & wear a women's medium, I purchased an XL for me! Hoping it fits!!

So glad I saved so much money! My boys have wanted one for a while...these will keep them extra warm at WDW in January!

Has anyone else has good luck with sportsbasement. I ordeded a Northface on e.bay, (I know I was asking for trouble), but it was listed as new with tags, and it has all the tags to make it appear real, but the quality of the fleece is nothing like the Northface jackets that I bought from REI for my little kids.
