Any good car rental rates out there for Thanksgiving???

We plan to arrive the day after Thanksgiving, and will need a car for 10 days...Best I can do so far is National for $310 (Using Contract ID and WWEB from Mousesavers). Anyone out there have any better deals for that week, or am I booking too early?

I have a minivan book starting on thanksgiving for 8 days and got a great rate thru dollar (287 including tax etc). I have never booked this early but have now figured out book and you can always cancel if something else better comes along. Try using the KISS3 code thru dollar or if you have a BJ's membership use the 10% off time and milage coupon.

buysmom-we are arriving the Sunday after Thanksgiving and staying until December 5. I just went to National website and got a rate of $215 using codes from rentalcodes.com I too never think it is too early. I usually start looking as soon as I know we are going and usually get decrease our price 1 or 2 times prior to our trip. Like the above poster said, you can always cancel and rebook. Better to have a price you are comfortable with than a price you are stuck with.
