Yes, they do have Florida resident specials running. The 7 night has special running for the June 7, June 14, and the June 28th 7 night cruise. They never did open up the 21st as it was already almost sold out. I changed my cruise from July 19th to the June 7th sailing because of this. When my friends called a month ago to join us on the cruise, they were quoted $3100 for 2 adults, category 11. Under the Florida resident special, it's $1697 for the same category.

I also booked the June 7th cruise under the Florida resident special. (We were booked on the July 19th cruise and changed the dates.) I paid about $3000 for my husband and I in a category 6 and around $2100 for my 3 kids in a category 11 right across the hall from us. We had booked while on board the Wonder last July for the 7 night and the cruise was over $2000 more, so I happily switched. I did lose my $200 on board credit for each of the cabins, but hey, I still ended up saving $1700. The way I figure it, maybe I can talk my husband into a 4 night now with the savings!

You have to just call DCL and see what is available. It often changes depending on how full the ship that you want to sail on is. If you can be flexible you can get what you want and a great price.
I would just call DCL directly or AAA if you belong. DCL is great about telling you when the FL specials are out. When I booked my 4 night for Jan. 5, 2002, I orginally paid full price. Come December they had come out with FL resident specials for that same cruise, and DCL just credited my credit card so I had the special. They will be able to tell you exactly what they have available, what cruise dates, and what categories as they don't offer all categories at that price.
