Any DVC Members also Club 33 Members?

If so are you willing to help out another DVC member? Know this is long shot!

This is on our to do list, a meal at Club 33. Been visiting DL for decades and never had a chance to go to Club 33.

I've searched charity auctions for a chance to bid on a Club 33 experience and either missed it or you have to be in person in order to bid. I've even spoke to people in HR if they know of anyone that has donated and nope nothing to my luck.

Found out the Club 33 list is closed to apply for a membership, as they have an extensive wait list already. Would rather buy the Club 33 membership than add on another resort, as we visit DL about 3 times a year.

Know that is is my only hope to find another Diser that would be willing to share this experience with another Diser family

Our next trip is planned in October at Disneyland

As for charity auctions, Disney does not donate Club 33 admittance to charity auctions. Members do. Disney's HR department would know nothing about it because it has nothing to do with Disney personnel.

Membership is approximately $10K for an individual, plus annual fees of $3-4K.

If you get invited by a member, make sure to ride the lift.

I didn't think that Club 33 members could donate meals anymore.

It kills me because I'm currently working as a summer clerk for a judge in Orange County and he gets to go to Club 33 tomorrow as part of a legal community group function (he's claiming that he will be sick tomorrow with D-land fever, and therefore too sick to come into work , proof that it never hurts to ask around with friends and acquaintances). Today he mentioned that another judge will be going too, but that judge hates Disney in general and will only be going for the meal.

I am aware that it's the members that donate a dinning event not Disney.
I didn't call Disney HR department, I was referring to my HR department where I work as I have a few contacts with the CEO's.
If Club 33 didn't have a waitlist we would be members as this is something we always wanted to join.

We also had the same wish for years. We have been to WDW dozens of times. We went to Disneyland 2 years ago with the family, DH, DS 19, DD 16 and had a blast. Are going back again really soon. Would have loved to get into Club 33.

My son is the lucky one when it comes to meeting people but this seems next to impossible.

You never know what might pop up. There's always Disney Magic!

I hav to agree try everyone you know. I was a lucky one to find a friend who was kind enough to extend an invitation and for me it was an exceptional experience. We will be going again this August this time for lunch. Best of luck.

We went on Valentines' Day for lunch with our son, daughter-in-law and a friend of theirs. She works for a company that has a membership. That's the only way we were going to get in. It was a "bucket list" thing for us. So glad we had the opportunity.

Club 33 has always been a buck list for me and last year it came through thanks to an offer from a friend. It was magical. So don't give up, you just never know when you might meet someone who can help.

Networking is the key! I've ran into a cashier at Gymboree one day, she was wearing the DCL laynard and started a conversation about Disney. Her family is on the waitlist for Club 33. Im getting close!!!

We got lucky that my husband had a connection through someone he knew at work. We have had lunch there twice. Sadly we no longer have that connection, but hey how many people get to eat there at all, much less twice. It is wonderful, in every way. I just treasure my memories of it, and took LOTS of pictures. I'm glad my son was able to see it as well.

We made sure to follow the rules very carefully, and be very respectful since we were basically representing the member there as a guest. I have a feeling that's why many would not just give out reservations on their membership to strangers online. Your best bet is to just keep looking for someone you might know! Sometimes it's a friend of a friend type situation. Good luck!

Sure they do. When we were there last year one couple was asked to to please control their little one since he was doing a version of speed racer.

Yes, but it's a fairly high end dining experience, so I'd recommend not taking very small children. The meal can be rather long and it's not the sort of environment that most little ones will enjoy. We took our fine dining obsessed son when he was 6 but he's sort of an odd duck and we would not have taken even him any younger than that.

Trust me, there are more high end places thanthis and they have nothing to do with Disney.

Club 33 members can never auction off dinners. It is the kiss of death. If you do and get caught your membership is immediately revoked. No warning. No second chance. You still see people doing it from time to time, but it is the unpardonable sin. They put this in effect about 5 years ago.
