I’m not sure if I missed an announcement. Are there any current deals on Annual Passes for 2020?

Well, nothing outside the usual has been announced at least. Here is a list of current incentives, as well as their post-tax prices, as listed on mousesavers:

  • Gold Pass: $744.44 for all ages (3+), including tax.
  • Gold Pass Renewal: $632.61 for all ages (3+), including tax.
  • Platinum Pass: $957.44 for all ages (3+), including tax ($234.30 off the regular price).
  • Platinum Pass Renewal: $813.66 for all ages (3+), including tax ($199.16 off the regular price).
  • Platinum Plus Pass: $1,063.94 for all ages (3+), including tax ($234.30 off the regular price).
  • Platinum Plus Pass Renewal: $904.19 for all ages (3+), including tax ($199.16 off the regular price).
Not cheap, but better than the normal public currently gets.

These are the regular prices that are only available to DVC members with blue card privileges, who own qualified points.

Typically, when DVC offers a special deal, all members are eligible, regardless of status of the points,

Wow. I didn't realize that's what the current AP prices are. The Gold Pass we activated this past August cost us $648.59/person including tax. DH and I have 2 more trips planned on that pass, 1 with just us and 1 with the kids...gets us through our planned 2020 trips...not sure what we'll do for 2021.

Yes, prices have jumped up quite a bit over the past couple of years. Considering that the general public's cheapest option is the platinum pass, priced at $1,191.74 for all ages (3+), we are getting quite the significant discount as DVC (blue card) members.

Did prices go up? I thought I saw the gold pass at $599 before tax just a month ago. Tax couldn't possibly be 25%

Big overnight jump in June 2019. YOu must have been looking at some old info.
There was speculation at the time that WDW is purposefully pricing APs so high, that people will just buy date-specific tickets, and they will be better able to know and plan for crowds. There is also expectation that price will certainly increase again, more, for 50th in Oct 2021.
Tax is still a remarkedly low 6.5% at WDW.

I might've looked at the renewal price instead for some reason. I was on the DVC site. Either that, or it was a bug and I missed my chance. But probably the former..

The deal they did a few years ago was highly unusual. Certainly not the norm.

The latest one we did, was bought in late 2017 for an initial use in late July 2018. This was the Dis.Platinum Plus for roughly $569 I believe. This was the highest that we paid out of all our 3 DVC AP's but we utilized it for 3 trips.
The one prior to that I believe we bought in late 2014 and was a mid range pass ( don't recall the name) but did allow us into H20 parks as well, and I believe that one was around $429, and the first one we got was back in 2012 for $299, which I think was just an entry level AP.....It almost seemed like it was a normal thing every 2 years or so. Here's to hoping that it'll happen again.:worship:pixiedust:
