Just give the dr a call. They will let you know if she needs to come in. At least you will have piece of mind. Grammy

Is your DD a thumb sucker?? My 4 year old is and she got that dark blue/purple moustache and when I took her to the dr. she said it was probably a slight case of hand foot & mouth disease?? Nothing really just sucking a dirty thumb.

hand, foot and mouth disease isn't really "nothing really". your DD was lucky it was just a slight case...I've seen it tons of times at the daycare I used to work at and it's not fun.

I do know that hand foot and mouth disease can be very serious, I was stating that for my DD is was nothing to be concerned about, we watched and she was fine, no fever, no blisters, no nothing.
