Ok, totally fried brain and all and I found out that I messed up big time. Somehow, I combined 2 email addresses and gave the convention the wrong address when I registered. Now, I don't have a way to get emails. Can anyone find some kind of contact phone number or email that I can use to get in touch with CK and change the email address associated with my registration? I've searched around and can't find one.

I'm awarding myself the dork of the year award for this one.

Hi ladies!

Thanks again to Ryan for getting me signed up for CKC! I'm so excited! Looks like the Disney and Sketchablity classes will be lots of fun!

We had such a wonderful trip. I haven't even finished uploading my photos yet but I'm dying to start working on the scrapbook! I was totally composing layouts in my head as I was snapping photos. You will not believe my pictures - we were total character stalkers this trip. I think we got a good 90% of the characters that were available to be seen. I broke into a run, dragging DH behind me to get to Jiminy Cricket. We were totally in love with the Poly and I will have a really hard time going back to the value resorts now. And we got to see the American Idol celebrity parade - not at the best angle for photos, but I did get a few really good ones. And Phil Stacy and Bucky Covington were just ahead of me getting on Expedition Everest! I tried to take a photo of them and it was totally blurry but I'm still using it - I realized I had walked right by them earlier in the park without registering it was them. Anyway - GREAT trip, awfully painful to be back to regular life. I can't wait to sit down and order all my pictures for the next crop!

I don't think I will be able to do the 27th. DH is heading up to Maine with the boys. I can do the following Friday. March 6th?

Of course we don't have a date that works for everyone. Maybe 2 dates? Going forward, I could do Friday 3/13, but I would like to get in there at least once before that.

Over to CKC talk for a minute - my friend seems to be MIA so I asked my aunt about local hotels. The one she recommended is sold out also, so your guess about another place is as good as mine. Those crazy scrapbookers take over the whole area! She did offer for us to stay at her house, but I understand if that's weird for you guys. I'm pretty sure I don't want to drive home Friday night, so I'll definitely stay with her if you all decide against a room.

So, why don't we do Friday the 27th, and Saturday the 7th. I don't mind two weeks in a row but would like to do a 12-hour soon.

As far as CKC goes ... I think you and I have the longest drive. Both Michelle and Denise are within 30 minutes I think. I was looking last weekend and didn't really see anything close by.

OK, so I'll plan for the 27th. I wish I could do the 7th, but with my mom out of commission, I don't have a babysitter. Ryan, can you sign us up?

I just did a quick expedia search on CKC hotels. There are actually quite a few with availability (approx. $100 night) near the airport. The airport is maybe a 10 minute (if that) drive from the convention center.

Thanks Ryan! She's not doing well at all. More than 2 weeks later she's still in unbearable pain and can't do anything. It's going to be a very long recovery.

I'm sorry to hear your Mom is having a rough recovery, Michelle. I hope her pain lessens at least somewhat soon.

I think we just need to hear from Denise that she can do the 7th - otherwise you all can do the 6th without me.

As for CKC, I am going to drive home Friday and then wake up early and drive back Saturday. I can't wait. Too bad it is still 3 months away!
