We have an ADR for Via Napoli but since we've overbooked ADR's, we were going to pay OOP for a Metro size pizza here. I'd like to know how VN compares to WPE's flatbread pizzas just in case we decide to save money & skip VN altogether. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know if this is how it is all the time but when we went to WPE my pizza was kind of cold in the middle and although it was cooked all the way it was not as crispy as I usually like it. When we went to VN the pizza was perfect. It was a nice thin crust with just the right amount of sauce. I found the pizza at VN to be WAY better than WPE, but thats just my opinion.

I totally agree with this - the pizza at WPE is way too saucy and soggy in the middle. I much preferred the VN pizza.

The pizza at Via Napoli is so good. Crispy, thin and always cooked perfectly when I have had it. Toppings are very high quality.

Pizza at WP Express is always great in flavor. We love the Margherita pizza there but I think Via Napoli's is way better.

It's kind of comparing apples to oranges. The WPE pizza is it's own special California cuisine style. Crust is moderately thin, they do more toppings, have more cheeses, and use sauce or pesto. They are cooked in a wood burning oven though.

VN is Italian style - extra thin crust, crushed tomatoes (not sauce), a light sprinkling of fresh mozzarella, cooked in a wood burning oven.

I think they're both wonderful, but I wouldn't say one is better than the other because they're different styles.

I think they are the two best places in Disney to get pizza, but aren't really comparable. The cheese is very different, and I think the tomato sauce is tastier at Via. If I had to pick one over the other, I'd pick Via, but both are very good.

Well I will just keep my VN ADR then. Thanks for your input!
