We'll be on the Fantasy next month. I saw a recent trip report that mentioned changes to Animator's Palate on the post-Covid cruises. Is that true? What did they change? I LOVE AP and usually find myself sobbing during the shows. Hope it's still some kind of a show. Thanks!

We are just off the Fantasy and actually had Animator's Palate 3 nights on our rotation. On our first time in, we had the show with interactions with Crush. On our second time, everyone drew characters on a sheet of paper at the start of the meal and then they took them and added Disney magic and animated them. Towards the end of dinner the had them all put together in a cartoon and you could spot your characters dancing on the screens... It was super fun. The last time through, they just had cartoons on the screens, but no "show".

I read that they are not returning the drawings at the end of the meal?

Just got off Fantasy Eastern Caribbean. I also had 3 nights of AP. Night one was Crush. Notice that the restaurant is emptier than normal so we had a Crush interaction since there was really no one sitting around us. Night 2 was Pirate night. So they had a Pirate show in AP with the dancers dressed as Pirates, just OK IMO. Night 3 was the show and yes the sheets didn't come back to us because of new COVID restrictions.

To us there didn't seem to be a change in the menu from Pre-COVID trips. And we brought up during COVID lock down would have been a good time to change up the menus.

There were also less tables around so there was plenty of social distancing. So much free space that we got a table for 6 when there was only 4 of us.

Note we had late seating.
