I've done a few gozing surveys so I had to open a paypal account. Does anyone know what the minimum amount you must have in your paypal account to be transferred to your bank account? I can't seem to find that answer on their site. What do you do with your paypal account. Thanks for any help. I'm totally lost!

I've done a couple of Gozing surveys and have yet to be paid  I also noticed a couple of DIS'ers on the reward board had the same problem as well.

Canadians can use Paypal, no problems. I don't think there is a minimum amount but if the money in your account are in US funds, they will convert it into Canadian before transfering it over. The exchange rate they use is close to what the current rate is but it's still in their favour.

I mostly use my Paypal account for making purchases on eBay but my DBF has a Paypal credit/debit card attached to his... that way we can make purchases in the US without losing out on the exchange rate.

Thanks!! I hope you're paid by gozing soon! I've been paid so there's definitely still hope. I've got a few dollars in my account so I've got to decide what to do. I haven't entered the world of Ebay yet but I may consider it. Thanks again!!

I have used paypal for a while with no problems-I love it!
I have never actually transfered the money to my account (I sell and buy on ebay) but it was my understanding after reading all the fine print that if your paypal acct is in usd then you must be transfering to a usd bank account..

I transferred some money out of my Paypal account several months ago, and it was quite easy. All of my Paypal money was in USD but I had no problems transferring it to my (Canadian) TD Canada Trust account (although TD was rather unhelpful when I asked if there would be extra charges.) Luckily there weren't any extra charges from my bank - they did say that if it was a wire transfer, there's extra charges, but Paypal sends the money by an electronic transfer, so I guess that's okay with TD. Anyway. Paypal charged me $0.50 to transfer the funds, but other than that I got all of the money.

Thanks again everyone. Lilsonicfan - do you happen to remember if there was a minimum amount of money required in your account before you could transfer it to your bank? I was going to transfer after I received my first gozing payment, but I was told there was a limit and for the life of me I can't remember what that limit was! Thanks again!!

I have used Paypal for the last three years and have done over 190 (mainly eBay) transactions with them--I love it! I am not sure about the logistics of withdrawing money from my account as any time I have had money in it, I was able to transfer it easily to my bank account and the amount was never very high. Lately, if a website offers payment via Paypal I will pay via this route. I think. IMHO. that it definately offers more security in the cases of fraud---I'm more than happy with Paypal and have never come across anything that raises concerns---hope this helps a little.
