Any Canadians Just Recently Driven Thru I-4 Construction?

Hi just got back from Disney World, we left at 530 am on Wed.the 18th drove the i4 to the turnpike, some construction,did not have any problems just heavy traffic for that time of the morning

That doesn't sound promising though. We left at 5:30 AM in March and barely saw any other cars on the 417. If traffic was already getting heavy with a 5:30 departure, can you imagine what it would be like leaving at 7:30?

We did I-4 back home on Saturday and experienced slower traffic but nothing as bad as experienced today when it took us 2 hours just to cross through the 401 Highway in Toronto. Hubby sure was tired tonight when we got home as we left WV this morning and had high winds in the mountains and lots of construction through WV and PA. He is the only driver. And poor him he couldn't relax in a hot shower tonight as I had turned off the hot water heater while we were away
