Any 10-16-04 cruisers yet?

Gettin' us back to page one. Andrew's being christened tomorrow, it's Father's day, and my youngest child's 27th birthday......it's going to be a busy day!

 Denise

We have a baptism to go to tomorrow too. It is Father's day and my parents 40th wedding anniversary. We are going out to dinner next Saturday to celebrate that event.

Have to bump this back to the 1st page. Where is everyone?

This will be our first time to cruise but we have been to WDW several times and are DVC members. We are traveling with one of our sons who will be 7. We did get assigned room 6634 I hope this is a good room and late seating. Hope to meet some of you on board. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hi :wave2: ,

Welcome Batchler, hope to meet you on board (and everyone else) too!

How was the baptism, Denine? We had an absolutely perfect day (weather wise) for ours. It was in the 70's and no humidity. It was a really nice party. Andrew was very good and cooperated. Got a little miffed when they sprinkled his head but other than that he was a good baby. He is so darn cute.

My girlfriend's little itty bitty grandbaby went home from the hospital yesterday. Him and Mom are doing great. I can't wait to meet him. I wouldn't know what the heck to do with a 4lb baby. My kids were all big, fat, roly polies. Remember Weebles? ("Weebles wobble but they don't fall down") Well..that could have described any one of my kids.

Talk to you all later,

princess: Denise

Hi everyone, thought I'd check in..... hope everyone is doing well, I just celebrated my Birthday on Sunday and I got lots of nice wishes!!!

Welcome Batchler, I am sure we will bump into each other, our crew is right beside & across the hall from you!!! We have staterooms 6632 & 6633, how cool is that?

:teeth:

Its almost time for double digits! Can you believe it? I can't!

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

School gets out tomorrow. I have one request! Shoot me noowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Hope you are well.

Rose

It won't be that bad, Rose. They'll only be home for 2 months. Two really long months. You can handle it  .

Hey fellow cruisers!

We just returned from a trip to Florida and just happened to drive by the Wonder while it was in port (This was on Friday the 18th). I coach an AAU 17 year old girls volleyball team that was in the AAU tourney in WDW that week. The girls wanted to hit Ron Jons for a day at the beach and I just wanted to check out the port. It was very difficult for me to hold the wheel straight while passing the ship :bounce:

Welcome Batchler!

Great news about the free pop!!

have a nice week end everybody,

Doug, Christy , Cori (15) and Connor (10)

Rose ~ Brendan's been out of school since May 27 and he's been driving me crazy everyday. The boys should start emailing each other again. At least that would keep them busy for a few minutes.

okwmeister ~ The Wonder was at Port Canaveral on Friday? I thought it was only there on Thursday and Sunday. I'm still trying to talk DH into driving up there for the day to see one of the ships. He thinks it's a waste of time. (It takes about 2 hours to get there from here.)

Magnetic Door Signs
I'm really sorry it's taking me so long to do these. I thought I had my printer problem fixed, but it's still not printing right. I don't want to mess up any of that expensive paper. I'll keep trying and let you know when everything is up and running. Good thing we still have 113 days left. :p

Sandy: Don't worry. If nothing else, you can give everyone their signs at the port!

The baptism went fine. Kaleigh decided that was the time to act up, so she and Jerry missed most of it.

Welcome Aboard batchler!

Doug: I hope you had a nice time in WDW!

Happy birthday Lisa! :cake: :bday:

Going out to dinner tomorrow night to celebrate my parents anniversary and their birthdays.

Okay...where is everyone? I'm lonely.

:( Denise

Sitting here bored. I always think the summer will be great, but I don't really like being off work. I'm teaching summer school, but for me that means I drive to people's houses two days a week and pick up their work. Our last day is Friday. We'll be in Yellowstone in four weeks, and I should be getting ready for that...but that is complicated so have been avoiding that chore. My mother told me the happy news that she has a bridge game booked for the 14th, the day before we leave...she is moving to Wisconsin as of tomorrow, I had visions of help in the last minute getting ready...not going to happen...I'd be willing to bet the cruise fare that every day from the time she arrives till the 15th is booked up solid...she just won't tell me all at once. Can all of you feel the mother-daughter tension ? DH insisted that we book the REAS package, anyone else have their times yet ? Three and a half months to go, I can't stand it !!! I need that I am a princess feeling...last time I held on to it until MCO...made the mistake of going into the bathroom.

Hello Everyone.

We are getting close to double digits. I am doing the double digit dance which looks very much like the hokey pokey.

Well, my son has been out of school a total of 3 days now. After boogie boarding at the beach for 4 hours yesterday , he sits down at the kitchen table and says to me ,

"MOM, there is nothing to do!"

I want to reassure you those words will not be coming out of his mouth again this summer because if they do, he will either be given away to the state...they have to take him, right......or he will be put on a very tiny boat in the middle of the Pacific ocean and left to find his way home.......no Disney trip for him.

Some of my husband's relatives are staying with us over the 4th. I am thinking of moving and not leaving a forwarding address when they go out for pizza and beer. Is that really so wrong?

HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY AND STAY SAFE

Rose

Rose: You can always fing an selection of interesting summer camps for him to attend. He may find he isn't so bored after all!

It is going to be a beautiful day today! :sunny:

Yep Denine, we did the summer camp last year and he HATED it! He also didn't like the kids clubs on the ship last year. We had to make him go and then he would only stay for an hour. This year I am throwing the beeper overboard!

I call him the "challenging child" for a reason.

Have a great day.
