Anxious about the opening vs. registration times.

So, I used to work for SeaWorld, so I know how things can be with regards to actually getting into a park. I kind of got a last-minute invite to do a Disney day on the 19th, and when I checked, they had an early morning Savi's option. 9:25! Awesome. I snagged it and got my tickets and everything, because my friend mentioned the park opened at 8.

Well, after buying everything, I was working on my itinerary, and I saw the park only opens at 9, not 8.. How would one get in the Disney doors at 9, and get to the Workshop by 9:25?? Do I just need to show up for parking and get in line for opening at like 8 anyways and just bite the bullet that I'm going to be standing in line for an hour, and then hope I can bustle may way through the park and into the Galaxy's Edge area in 25 minutes? Do I count as 'early access' for the specialty line I've heard about?

Am I just 50/50 doomed to pay 400$ for lightsabers I won't get? (I decided to surprise the other person I'm going with.)

I think in principle you can show up as early as you need to to make it on time and if you show them your reservation they will let you in.

If push comes to shove, you could probably enter Hollywood Studios at 9 and still make it on time.

Guests are tapping in earlier than 9 at HS, then are held in various areas inside the park, depending on their rope drop goals. I don't think you should worry. Have fun!
