I did a search but didn't see one.
If there is one, can someone post a link?

I haven't seen one. When does this start? Did I miss the first episode? I love that stupid show.

First episode was tonight - 2 hours.

It will be replayed on Sunday at 8:00 pm EST

Is anyone gonna post spoilers? I won't get to see the episode till later this week.

Do you want them? I can post what I remember but I'm not good with names this early on.

Or I can change the title to include "No Spoilers"?

I would love spoilers. I don't want to ruin anythng for those who don't though. But if you could, spoil away.

I'm not too good with names until they start thining the heard a bit.

I was soooo pleased with the first elimination. Instant karma can be SO satisfying! :rotfl:

I pick the girl from Alaska to win (but that's the only Alaskan ;)) they've had a high fashion girl win, a commercial girl, a plus size girl, several African Americans, and A Hispanic girl, but never a nerdy girl.

I too love ENTM, it's a guilty pleasure, especially the marathons on MTV and VH1

OK - Spoilers - Anyone feel free to help me out.

1st hour was themed as a 21st century futuristic thing with the models going through a quick photo, catwalk and the meeting with Tyra and the 2 J's. After that 30 (?) was trimmed to 20 (?).

Then they changed into metallic catsuits for another quick photo session and the 20 became the final 14.

2nd hour was a traditional episode. First "challenge" was an q & a with Nigel, Miss J and Paulina - separately. Then a photo shoot that was themed political, each model posing with a "voting booth" and having a "cause".

There were 3 Brittanys in the final 14 and two changed their names, one of the Brittanys I think the new name was Sharonda (?) got sent home. In her interviews she was very full of it introducing herself as I AM America's Next Top Model which seemed to take the judges aback and her photo really wasn't that good.

One the finalists had tried out like 30 times before. She said she tried out for every season in at least 2 or 3 castings. There is the typical cast - the "California blonde athletic type", the "quirky girl", the "small town girl", etc.

No plus size this year. One was in the original 30 but she was told she was really too small for plus and she looked a lot like Whitley/Whitney (what was her name?) from last year.

Biggest spoiler that had already been reported is one of the finalists (Isis) is a transgender. Pre-operative. She was one of the homeless girls in the background for the first photo shoot from last season and did so well, Tyra said she had to try out for the show. I have to say her pics were good. While she was having her photo shoot some of the other girls were in the background saying she needed to shave and she was sweating really bad and just other really horrible things.

My personal favorites so far are Elina (dark hair, smoldering eyes did well with photos but might let her personal views sink her - vegan and only wears black and pants) and Sheena (Japanese/Korean Kimora Lee Simmons type who did really well in photo shoot and has a loud personality).

:scared1: I can't believe I missed it! Guess I haven't been watching much tv lately...and what I did watch was the Olympics. :confused3

Now to remember to watch it on Sunday...............

I didn't know it was starting until the DVR was taping something. I have to say that there are some interesting girls this cycle. Oh and I have to agree.....Karma is a *****. You ARE NOT america's next top model. LOL

Just a friendly reminder for those who missed it on Wednesday - it will be replayed tonight - 8:00 pm EST

I watched tonight. Now I understand everything I read here the other day!

My son saw part of it and as he headed to bed, he said "I hope that underwear girl gets kicked off!" :lmao:

I couldn't believe how mean those girls were being when Isis was doing her shot. Whether they agree with her/who she is or not, that's just really unprofessional!

I think Nikeyshia looks like Saleisha (must be the hair) and I think Elina looks kinda like Bjork. Oh and the Harvard girl reminded me of somebody from last season, but I can't remember her name....

And by watching the show tonight, now I only have to wait 3 days for the next one! :thumbsup2

What are your thoughts on the futuristic special effects? Personally, they make me :rotfl2: but curious what others were thinking. I'll watch regardless, in fact I think it adds to the charm.:thumbsup2

personally I can do without them, but that won't stop me from watching :rotfl2: . I think it was good without all the extra, Jays hair is a bit to 80's frosted. LOL

I think the tranny is going to be the "Heather-Asperger's" person this year, meaning she'll go far but won't win. I think Tyra wants an Asian winner to complete her collection, but we'll see if Sheena can bring it.

[Then again, I thought Anya was WAY better than Whitney last cycle, yet the plussie winner had to be crowned, so maybe Sheena won't have to outshine all the others in order to take it]
