Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

I have a panasonic lumix mc-lz2 ( I think ) It's a normal digital camera and I've had it for about 2 years or so now...and lo and behold.. two months ago I discovered that it takes movies also... (I'm a blonde, can you tell??) so I use that... it has a USB cord and software for me to upload it on to my computer.. I don't do anything fancy... I take all my reviews for the most part on the first take, no rehersing.. .and I don't edit anything, so it's quick!
The only thing that is time consuming is the actual uploading time... other than that.. it's quick quick quick!

Oh okay, that's cool. I guess if I just take enough time to insure it's good lighting and relatively quiet, I'd be okay. I just joined that shared reviews site, and I like it too! Have any of you all been successful using both sites? I'd so love to use all this money to pay off our Disneymoon (balance of $2805 due on October 1st...). Granted I don't think I'd be able to earn the full amount, but the less I literally have to pay, the better.

I read on the forums on expotv about a guy who said he paid for 8 months of rent and all this other stuff... and I believe it!!!! I think over the summer the review limit was NOT capped.. but now it is, but still if you can make 300 bucks in a month.. why the heck not?????

Yup I agree! I'm going to treat it like a part-time job with flexible hours that lets me work from home.

My KitchenAid Chef Chopper, KitchenAid Mixer, and Dan In Real Life videos have the symbol on it that say "Put On TV." Does that mean it got put on tv or someone is recommending to put it on tv? I was hoping to stay under the radar. Make the videos good enough to get paid for, but not good enough to go on tv.

The Dan In Real Life one, I look like I just got out of bed. In fact, I'm wearing a sweatshirt I frequently sleep in.

I'm sorry but your post cracked me up! The whole "stay under the radar" thing...anyway, I have no idea as far as your question goes, just wanted to say you made me laugh! I haven't posted any videos yet, but I too want to stay under the radar.

I don't really have problems getting anything approved on expo and when I do it happens when I'm uploading so I upload it again (and again and again) but this past month was smooth. And I agree- the uploading takes the longest! And it's true, they pay...November was my third month and although I haven't received that payment yet I have no doubt that I will, September and October came in around the 2nd Thursday of the month.

I think I read that when expo started they were paying $25/review - can you imagine?! I would have loved it! Heck I'm lovin' the $5/dvd!

Sharedreview...I only did 5 to see how the payout was, all 5 got approved but it took a while (maybe a week or a little longer) and then I got an email saying that I had $10 in my paypal account. I need to get going on that site. Does anyone know is the 75 cap on SR lifetime or monthly?

The cap while it is in Beta is 75 for payments. But once it is fully launched, there will be a new method of payouts. Referrals are really big on that site, because the more the people you refer review, the more you get. I reached my pay out cap of 75, but I'm hoping all the people I referred get writing. I'm in the top 10 earners (Mean_Queen) so you can see me on the front page. There are many other Dis'ers on there too. SR pays out every Monday through Pay Pal, if you have a balance.

ok mean.. I'm a huge fan of your reviews... and I pulled up your profile page and saw the picture for the lancone skin concealer... and i thought to myself... that's not bad at all!!!! THEN... I looked at the picture for the dual powder... unreal... it brought back flashbacks of the picture they used for me for my degree deodorant... no wonder why that product has so many hits.. I look like a mean witch... and i'm only THIRTY!!!!

I got an email today from Expo asking me to complete a W9. I made $575 this year. I didn't think they sent one if you were under $600, but I guess they do.

I didn't think I'd get one either (I'm under $600) and it says in the email they're required to report if it's $600 or over. I wonder if they're doing it just to be safe.
