Well, it looks like the slow uploading is doing much better. I just finished uploading my 100th August video last night, and it was allowing me to upload them back to back, without opening any new windows, which was nice.

I had my last couple of July reviews approved Wed, and before that I had 2 approved from August already, but they were not even the first ones I uploaded in August. It seems things are a little disorganized, but if they all get approved, it is well worth it.

For those of you who have been lucky enough to have some Aug videos approve, would you mind posting what day you uploaded? I am anxiously awaiting my very first approval and was wondering what kind of time frame the august approvals were running at? I want to keep doing more (I have done 8) but I am sooo nervous that something isn't right with them...especially since the 'preview' option isn't available. I just need 1 little video approved to give me the confidence that I am 'doing it right'.

My husband had ten approved today. They were done on 8/1, 8/2, and 8/3.

I had three approved on 8/3 and they were done on 8/2.

This is directly from PP about the personal accounts:

"PayPal Personal accounts have limits on the amount of funds they can receive each month.

Depending on the primary currency of the Personal account, the receiving limit is 500 USD, 650 CAD, or 250 GBP. To view your Personal account limit, log in to your account and click the View Limits link.

As far as there being a fee for Premier account, it only shows a fee if you accept money from a credit card/debit card or an e-check, or PP instant transfer so I don't know where Expo TV would fall- I wouldn't think they would be catergorized under any of these. Maybe mom2sweetgirls or dumplebugs will check in and let us know what it fell under when they were paid.

I just finished uploading my 100th August video last night,

I've only got 7 uploaded this month because I am so paranoid about approval! O worked my butt off last month and only got 1/2 of the videos approved due to "poor video quality." Whatever that is!

Opinions please....I am using a webcam which makes it difficult to showcase large products. For my yoga mat review I talked for about 20 seconds on camera with the rolled up mat in the frame with me, then used Movie Maker to make a slideshow of still pictures of a variety of shots of the mat. I added narration to the stills then finished up with another 20 second video blurb with just me in the frame wrapping it up. Do you think they will accept this? It was a big pain to do, but looks professional in my opinion and gives us webcam users a way to display large items. I'm just worried they won't like it because it used still shots with narration for the middle of the clip.

They need a smiley on here that is chewing its nails off!

If you go to your own profile page and scroll all the way to the bottom, there should be a link to refer friends on the bottom left (under your friends, subscribers, and subscriptions). I just checked and it is still there and active on my profile. Hope this helps!

Thanks, they moved the link from the Referred Friends section to the Friends section above Subscribers. I searched for that link for over an hour today! And it was right in front of me all the time.

I had my first travel destination review approved!! I was hoping this would go through- I did a review for Donalds Breakfastasaurus in AK. I didn't know if they would take it, because I didn't have video footage- I narrated through some of my photos on Windows Movie Maker. Now that I know we can do that, that opens up a lot of possibilities for all us disers!!

I feel your pain! I uploaded 18 and have another 14 or so waiting to convert/upload. I was just thinking how horrible it'd be to have them all rejected!! I uploaded the 6th and 7th.

So with 32 made I've got 68 more to do if I want my 100 for the month. I'm so hesitant to keep this up without any approvals!

Hoping within the next week! I haven't had a single one approved yet and haven't even been able to preview them after uploading. (I'm KarenAle on Expo- I swear I've got stuff waiting! ).

Whoo hoo! I made the home page! I always check, because I have seen a lot of Disers in the featured section, but my Donald's review is in the Newest Product Reviews! I feel loved. Course, I am in the last spot, so I will probably get bumped out soon, but still!

How do they pick some of those? Not the newest but some of the others. The one for "purity grits" has been there for a very long time and I just wondered how they get selected for that?

Edited to add: I just looked again and saw it was most played but it seems like its been there since it had very few plays? I guess I just don't get that section!

Just got an email for Expo TV stating that they are dropping arts and crafts, kidz toys and housewares done to the $2.00 range tonight at 11:59pm. So if you want to get in on the $10.00 promotion for this areas I would get to uploading. They said it is due to the massive response in these areas. Just wanted to give the heads up. Its a Real Bummer.

This really bothers me. I think it is really so unfair to offer this and then 10 days later say oops we take it back. Not only that they could have given more notice than the day of to take it back. I really think this is not right. Im thinking why bother for august now because most of the 10 dollar stuff we were going to review fell in those categories and now I just dont have that kind of time to put together and upload 100 for me and for dh. Im just so dissapointed that they did that.
