Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

20 days?! :sad2: Ouch. Maybe I should just submit more early and call it a learning month while I figure what they want, They'll probably take some. If I wait 20 days, I won't have time to do more between work and all that before Sept is over. You can review every month right so next month I should do better!

Nice review on Notre Dame Stadium... I think I am going to review my 2nd home... The Joe Louis Arena home of the 10 time champs Detroit Red Wings :thumbsup2

We were season ticket holders up until this year, but we will still be going to a few games... I will get some great shots.

Thanks :goodvibes

From the forum... Here is an example of what would be considered an A video done by the common everyday folk:

LINK REMOVED TO NOT GIVE ANY MORE VIEWs... Grrr

okay that is a little be easier to achieve :)

Ok what would you do about this. I submitted like 7 travel reviews last month that got rejected because I was not in the footage. I basically did the intro and then narrated the pictures in movie maker. I dont know what the big deal is because my daughter is in all the pictures and she reviews on my account so verifying that we were there is not the issue. So. Would you write an email arguing this point or I could just reshoot the intro with dd saying this is my review on xxx and resubmit them this month or would you scrap that idea altogether? I could get her to do the narration and review on the trips but it basically would be the same thing and take up a lot of time. SO what do you all think?

The person who said it was an A video, that is his video. Not saying it isn't, but I bet he sure got alot of plays out of it.

I have 3 approved for Sept so far, 40 submitted, and they were approved at the $5 rate. Trust me, mine are average joes! I did some DVD's. If you want to see how I did them my user name jessica52877. I did them two different ways actually, the ones they approved were the sloppier way, although neither are professional or anywhere near.

mydisneydollars! I am so glad to see you filmed the computer. I was wondering if that would work. I dont have hardly any pictures printed out. I am afraid to try travel reviews though because of all the rejections!

Well thanks... I have sense remove the link from here. I would rather watch vids of people on here frankly :)

Yeah that was definitely his vid and if you notice he is all over those forums. He can't say enough wonderful things about Expo and he has loads of hits on his videos.

Yeah he is quite annoying, i would have not given that link out had I of known it was him (didn't even click honestly) he is a kiss-**** for sure...

haha i just realized you were the one that started the thread I was fighting in... Kudos to you :)

Wow, already for September? We still have tons of stuff pending for August, some from the middle of the month! I wish they would hurry up. I'm glad for all of us that they approved yours so we could see what they expect for DVDs. However, I feel like they should finish August before moving on to September.

I still have them going back to August 22 as well, about 18 or so of them. Ho Hum, it just takes soooo long!

Looks good! Ours are similar, we just have it playing in the background with the volume low. Of course ours are still pending, but it's nice to know that it looks like they are sufficient to be accepted.

Its hit or miss, I did the same thing you did last month. The first 3 I sent in immediately. it took almost 20 days for them to be approved and published. Then I added 10 more because I finally got 2 of those first 3 approved (1 was an expected rejection because the color was too dark). Those 10 were approved and placed live on expo the VERY NEXT DAY!

Then I did 32 more at the end of the month and they are still pending.

I did 4 more to fit in to the Sept promotion (3 DVDs and 1 portable DVD player) so hopefully those will be approved in the new restrictions.

20 days!!!! :scared1: I finally uploaded my first videos last week and have been checking back anxiously every day. I hope it doesn't take 20 days for news (good or bad). I did a travel review on the new Animal Kingdom Villas, I hope it goes through!

I agree, DH has some pending from August from I think the 19th or 20th, finish all of one month, pay us, then go on to the next. I did most of them after the first evening with them playing in the background, switched rooms. Hmm, now that I think of it, I had a small DVD player for some, moved the camera to the tv for some and have the tv on in the background for others. I was leary to do all of them because of the new must show clips and wasn't sure they would be okay. I decided I would rather have them done and try, then to wait.

hey newest friend ;)

But like I said right after that I did 10 reviews on the 28th or something and the were all APPROVED the NEXT DAY!!! so I really don't know how they review it. I just had 4 more approved today, and they were all varieties of days uploaded. It is odd. I now have 11 reviews for this month which are pending, but I would like to see my Augusts get decisioned before too much longer

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is being rubbed the wrong way by skyscreamer....... I actually came over here to check and make sure it wasn't a DISser that was annoying me so much before I said something. :lmao:

I got 6 more approvals today! One of them was submitted on 8/18...... I still have one from that day I'm waiting on. It's only a $2 review so it's not like it's going to make a huge difference im pay for the month but still, I've been waiting so long............

I'm uploading a review of the movie Death Sentence, I'm sure they'll get that one approved by the end of the week, maybe even tomorrow. :rotfl2:

Heck I am fighting with them and I don't even have access to the baby food. Being all upity up for a company no matter what issues come along and just basically being a kiss *** really rubs me the wrong way with anyone. I mean Please yeah expo is giving out money for reviews yadda yadda yadda but without US doing it they have no reviews... And I am sorry but NO COMPANY is that perfect where they are above all critism whether it is constructive or not... He is far up Xpos ..... okay I will stop now, i know this is a family site... When I get home I will take it to the yahoo group :)

Hi,

I just discovered this thread and it sounds like a fun way to earn a little extra Disney money! I have a question about the travel videos, though, and I didn't see the answer here (though I admit I didn't read through all 112 pages!), nor on expotv.

I was thinking of doing some reviews in San Francisco. If I do, am I allowed 1 video for the entire city, or can I break it up into sections (Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Chinatown, Museums, etc)?

Ive been watching tons of videos on Expo (to try and figure out what is good and what is bad. I've seen reviews of multiple sites inside one city. For instance, the Disney parks, Animal Kingdom, Epcot. So I think you are okay doing different stuff in same city. I wish I lived somewhere that had intersting places to review. :headache:

I still have about 10 that are pending from 8/18 + 8/20. My husband still has all 6 still pending too. I just got ONE approved today! :lmao: I still don't know if I should email them about the restaurant I did though as they put it in the $2.00 and it is NOT a chain restaurant! :confused3

Who do I pm about the yahoo group?? I can't find it! Sorry if it's right in front of my face and I'm just being blind! It's been a long week! :headache: But it's almost the weekend! YAHOO! Oh no, wait,:scared1: I have my daughters "friends" b-day party with 7, 13 + 14 year olds! What was I thinking?!?!?! :lmao:
