I just spoke with southwest. The woman said to check on Tuesday or Thursday of next week at 10am Central time.

That would be great, I'm so losing patience with this whole thing. :sad2:

I am so tired of this waiting I am just ready to book elsewhere !!!! :rolleyes1

As it has been pointed out before, they usually wait untile the current schedule is about 105 days out. 105 days is April 20. It is also after Easter.

It makes sense.

I am trying to decide on an Airtran Fare now (The disney special, $169 from BUF) or wait for SW. All things considered with the way fares are headed this summer $169 isnt bad, and its for travel on Saturdays.

with the Delta "issues" SWA is the only non-stop option from CT. I've actually begun looking at United w/a stop in DC. Not great but I HATE NOT HAVING MY FLIGHT YET!!!!!!! SWA please release the rest of the summer, PLEASE!!!!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Just wondering how much SW fare could be cheaper ? I am just about to cave in and book Airtran instead of waiting for SW.

Hi,, :yay:

I too am waiting on SW to release dates, I am needing Sept 29-Oct 6th (Both Fridays) RT from Little Rock.

What kind of prices can I expect? Is it cheaper as soon as they release, is that why everyone is waiting?

Do you book online or call?

Sorry about all the questions, we usually drive but want to fly this time.

Sorry if this is considered a thread hi-jack but ya'll seem to be pretty knowledgeable.

TIA! :sunny:

I have paid between $115 - $135 RT on SW from Buffalo in the past. However that was mid week travel usually.

Is that for a non-stop? It sounds pretty good to me. JetBlue is $317 for a non-stop out of Boston for a Sat departure and a Sunday return. I think that is ridiculous for August. I'm between a rock and a hard place now, I waited so long for SW that everything is really high now for weekend travel.

I also looked at JB out of Boston in Aug. Sat-Fri. The fare has gone up about $300 in total for 2 adults 2 children in the past month. SW better come through quick or I may resort to Allegiant Air out of Worcester! :guilty:

Is that the before taxes or after taxes price?

When the dates finally arrive, will you book as round trip or as two one-ways? :confused3 Is it true that you need to book two one-ways to take advantage of potential future Ding fares?

after taxes. $49 each way, direct flights come sto $115 after taxes. It is a great deal if it comes available.

I decided to wait on Southwest and see about the fares then.

Wow! That is great. I was too chicken to wait, so I took the $205 flight on USAir.

I am ready to follow you to USAirways. Yet I really do not like the idea of connecting flights. However, the stress of the SWA waiting game is starting to get to me. I need to book nine people for our late August trip. Oh, I can't believe how stressed I feel! I just want a nonstop flight out of PVD which is 5 minutes from our home. The idea of going to Boston is not sitting well with me either. Oh, my. What to do. What to do.

I am going to continue waiting for SW. And I appreciate all of you bailing and booking elsewhere.....More fares for me :rolleyes1
I have a large credit with SW due to fares being reduced after I purchased them for a trip we took in March, so here I wait :surfweb:

It's definately going to happen either this week or next, I'd try and hold out if you can. I've had my cruise and hotel stay booked since last June so I can totally relate to how frustrating this may be. ;)

Not sure if this will help... I had been anxiously awaiting for JetBlue to publish their fares..checking online everyday...

Eventually, I called them and asked them if they could check and it was in their system 2 days before it was posted on their website. I got it! :wizard:

This wait is a killer. Trying to wait patiently for 9/30-10/15 have to book for 5. I know as soon as I turn my back (or go to work) the fares will be released and I won't be near a computer. Ahhhhh. I spoke to someone who works at sw and she said it should be real soon. I would love to just beable to book everything and not have to worry about anything but my adrs,
