hmm maybe.. Very 60's looking architecture in the stairways.. a young age to change?

The ever changing temp outside doesn't help.. it was warmer at 5 am then it was at mid day today.

We are down to about 6 inches of snow. I think we've had our snow for the century! We got about 3x more than Portland did and they broke their snowfall record set back in 1960 something! Yeah, yeah I know, nothing compared to MN standards.

Well ladies, I need to head to bed. I only exercised on the Wii for about 20 minutes tonight. I'm finding that if I exercise in the evening I am amped and can't fall asleep until 1am, then I have to wake up for work at 6am. So I'm trying to get up at 5am and exercise then instead. Easier said then done!

Take care ladies....and Megan take care of the oven. Don't want no babies popping out before the timer goes off!

You should have seen my super stressed out husband driving to the hospital in rush hour traffic.

Poor guy, they feel so helpless when it comes to preggieness and health issues.

Sooooo.... I got to spend my birthday evening in L&D. Darn contractions wouldnt stop. They kept coming and coming... and Frelan was DONE. He packed me up and off we went. Of course.... as soon as we got there, they stopped. But thats good.. So they sent us home.

I'm glad that you and the babies are okay!

I know it.. Its so hard on him, after everything we gone through lately... he is being VERY protective of this whole pregnancy. Since he has been off work for these past few days, I havent gotten off the couch for more then just a bit at a time. He wont let me do ANYTHING!

Hey Pxie! Hope your cold is better!

Our snow has melted - now we have ice and a covering of crunchy frozen snow. The piled up drifts are shrinking down again, we had a massive pile as tall as a one story building in the grocery parking lot. They push it all into one place, with no removal. Kinda pretty when it was white. Now it's a grey and half crunchy lump of slime. yuck.

Up and down temps with the wind kickin in.. but not like it was a few weeks ago with the bitter negative wind chills. brrrrr.

boohoo.. I feel bad leaving when the chatting is just beginning.. but it's late in my area of the world.

Hi Ladies,

I'm going to try and make this as short as possible.

I think you all know that I was supposed to be at DL today, and going to Club 33. Well over the weekend, my stepfather who we all love very much passed away. My Mom was with her side of the family for a huge gathering for Christmas, and my stepfather was with all of his children up north when it happened. (They had their own little special Christmas together before they left last week.)

Well, right after we had all finished our big meal on Saturday, I got a call from my stepbrother Jeff, informing us of the terrible news. So what started as a wonderful day with all of our family, ended in a tragic one.

My Mom is devasted, and I cry for the loss of him, and to see my Mom so sad. That is the hardest part..... To see her so sad.

Well I just thought you all should know what is going on.

I'm glad they stopped. I was in for that, too, once; I think it was at 24 weeks, and they wound up having to give me drugs to stop the contractions. Scary business, that.

I'm glad all is well. Do drink all that water, make those kids learn to backfloat, baby!

Just a brief hello for now!

I have several errands to run, and this afternoon I'm taking the boys to an indoor playspace to meet up with our neighbor friends. Should be fun!

We invited this same family over for New Year's Eve. I was sure they'd already have plans, and we just saw them at their place last Saturday for dinner and cards, but we floated the invitation anyway. Amazingly, they accepted! (Maybe they don't care to drive on NYE, either...?)

So DH is planning on a little bartending (he bartended in college), we're lining up movies for the kids to watch, and I'm printing out a cheat sheet of this wicked cool, complicated card game they taught us!
