I was thinking of getting the iPhone. You know WalMart sells them now. I'll have to go to the AT&T store and play with them both and see which one I like better. I really like the Curve.

My siblings and I checked consumerreports.com and read reviews for various phones. I had a T-Mobile MDA phone which is really fun to use. My siblings had blackberry phones. They love the blackberry storm. You should check it out. :) It's better than the iPhone.

I'm too lazy to take down my Christmas tree. Christmas just zoomed by too quickly this year. :sad2:

DBF pulled all of of Christmas stuff out of the shed but we only put up a few things and the rest of the stuff never made it out of the boxes. :rotfl: At least putting it away will be easy!

:rotfl: I had so many storage boxes and my bf organized it months ago. We had to pull them all down but now I'm too lazy to take down all the pretty decorations. :rolleyes1

Are you off from work this week? My older sister is taking this week off from work.

Awe, I hope you're feeling better soon. It sucks to get sick on holidays. I know in theory it should seem that's the perfect time to get sick but really it sucks.
Dh has been sick since September and now he has this awful cough. He says that if he tips his head back or swallows right before a cough he feels a lump in his throat, which doesn't sound good. He's supposed to make a dr's appointment today. He's also so sleepy all the time, so I want him to get checked for iron deficiency when he's there, but he probably wont.

Congrats on the new blackberry, it sounds pretty cool. I wish I had one.

Thank you Christina! :) I hope your DH is okay and that the doctor's visit goes well. Keep us posted.

I work today and tomorrow and then I'm off the rest of the week. DBF and I are either going to San Diego or Vegas Wednesday through Friday. We have reservations for San Diego but we may cancel and go to Vegas. Not sure yet but we're going somewhere. :rotfl: Either way we're coming home Friday because I got DBF tickets to the Supercross at Angeles Stadium on Satuday, the 3rd for Christmas.

Cool! I hope you have a great trip. :goodvibes The supercross sounds like fun. I saw the commercial for it yesterday.

It's a blast. Every year we go to all three Anaheim rounds and the San Diego round (which is on Valentine's Day this year).

We always go with a big group of DBF's friends and BBQ and stuff in the parking lot before hand.

Ok, so I cancelled San Diego and now DBF and I are going to Vegas on Wednesday. DBF saw a commercial on TV last night for some motocross guy who's going to be jumping over the Eifle Tower at the Paris hotel so we decided to go there insted. Plus we couldn't find anything to do is San Diego for New Year's Eve.

The 27-year-old Aussie will jump his bike more than 120 feet high and land on the top of the 96-foot-high and 40-foot-deep replica Arc de Triomphe in front of Paris Las Vegas. What goes up must come down, and Maddison’s not going to argue with physics. Upon completing the jump, he will then drop off the Arc and freefall 50 feet to a massive landing ramp below. Maddison’s impressive resume, in addition to his record-breaking distance jumps, includes a very successful freestyle motocross career. In March, Maddison leapt an astounding 378 feet in Australia.

“I had some doubts last year whether or not I could jump a football field,” said Maddison. “But as I practiced, I got more and more confident and realized I could pull it off; and I did, twice. This year, the doubts are way bigger. The jump has never been done before, but I’m confident in my ability and I believe that as I start training, the dream that seems impossible will become a reality.”

I went to the mall real quick to return some pants to GAP. It turns out that they are on sale for much cheaper online. I have a gift card I got for Xmas and a $20 coupon and they had a coupon code for sale items. I just ordered $100 worth of merchandise and the final price after the gift card and discounts was $14! :yay: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I stopped at Jamba Juice on the way home and got a coldbuster drink. They said they ran out of immunity boost which is odd. :confused3 Hope it helps my cold.

Hi Ladies,

I'm going to try and make this as short as possible.

I think you all know that I was supposed to be at DL today, and going to Club 33. Well over the weekend, my stepfather who we all love very much passed away. My Mom was with her side of the family for a huge gathering for Christmas, and my stepfather was with all of his children up north when it happened. (They had their own little special Christmas together before they left last week.)

Well, right after we had all finished our big meal on Saturday, I got a call from my stepbrother Jeff, informing us of the terrible news. So what started as a wonderful day with all of our family, ended in a tragic one.

My Mom is devasted, and I cry for the loss of him, and to see my Mom so sad. That is the hardest part..... To see her so sad.

Well I just thought you all should know what is going on.

Well I'm glad to hear the belly button pop doesn't hurt. Is it a gradual process or are you at the dinner table when you hear a loud POP and you look down and your belly button is protruding?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Of course, they'd probably be happy as clams playing in a hotel pool all day. I guess some of them are pretty spectacular, too!
I think the hotels sound fabulous. No idea if we could afford to stay in the Bellagio or Venetian or whatever they are, but it sure would be fun to walk through them. Canals, water shows, a carnival, an indoor beach, a mini Eiffel Tower and other famous landmarks done "miniature"...

ummm, be careful about the hotel pools too. We walked thru the Flamingo's and noticed someone was topless and almost bottomless -- and it wasn't the topless part of the pool..:rolleyes1

But with the ecomony down right now - tons of deals to be found.. like Dizzy stated you can find codes and stay on strip for low cost.

Walking thru all the casinos and hotels was very cool-- but I still feel it's very much an adult playground. FLICK FLICK FLICK of porn cards still stuck in my head. Circus Circus looked tired and old, we fled in a hurry at the time. I could stand and watch the Bellagio fountians all day and night, beautiful!
Some day we will go back again.

I think the hotels on the strip are really expensive and if you don't mind staying off the strip you can get hotels for half the cost of the ones on the strip. But I'm easily influenced by glamour and if people say it's cool to stay on the strip then that's where I want to stay.
We went to Fremont, has a more old vegas feel-- we fell in love with it, very laid back, slow paced and the Fremont Expereince was wonderful fun to watch. Cheap rooms there too. Darn now I REALLY want to go back.

Im not big on surgery... but it would be nice to have my b00bs put back where they were before I started having kids.
LOL, wait until you start bfeeding :rotfl2:

If you want fatter lips just draw them on with lip liner, they looks like bee stung vulva.

:lmao: :rotfl2:

yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

not really, i'm just singing.

lalallalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I like to sing too.

Geez, if I get up at 5am every morning and practice I may never had to do housework again.

SWEET! What a wonderful idea! Now if I only can find a Wii Fit here-- sigh.

oyyyyy. anybody want to buy a couple children?
i asked rather loudly, 'what are you doing?'
ds8 jumped and replied, "nothing!"
ds4 said his brother wanted him to roll down the stairs, but it hurt the last time, so he didn't want to do it again.

ahhh, the joys of boys-- yes it does get worse than this .. and then better.. and then you really don't care any more LOL

I'm too lazy to take down my Christmas tree. Christmas just zoomed by too quickly this year.

DBF pulled all of of Christmas stuff out of the shed but we only put up a few things and the rest of the stuff never made it out of the boxes. At least putting it away will be easy!

Same here, we put up our homemade Mickey ear wreath (I love dollar tree) and N put up one of our tiny trees.. and the rest stayed in our bedroom in the storage bags. We put up some lights in the living room, those will stay in place of a lamp for a dark corner. Until I tire of them anyway.

HHHHAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!My husband is in the kitchen baking me a cake as I type. Its from a box, but what can you do?
awww, that's sweet! Happy Birthday!

 I'm sorry to hear for your and your family's loss. Bittersweet end to a happy holiday. :grouphug:

We just got our tree decorated a day or two before Christmas Eve, so I ain't takin' it down until I have to... which is Jan. 2nd, since the Boy Scouts are picking up trees to recycle on the 3rd. :rolleyes1

DH was lamenting about how short a time we had the tree up this year, and I said, "Yeah, what is that, about $10 a day?" :lmao:

Next year maybe we'll get it right after Thanksgiving to get our money's worth. (We always take it down on or near New Years Day.) ;)

Rats. I was going to try to do my photo calendars online, but I think my computer is too slow to run all the graphics. I was trying to get to the page where you transfer the files (photos) to the website and got hung up!

Maybe I can have DH transfer the files, and then use the laptop to create the calendars... I'll have to check with him on that.

He's watching Deadliest Catch, or at least was about 40 minutes ago. Kids seem to be playing in DS8's newly cleaned bedroom. Perhaps un-doing all the work of today...

I wish my apartment would stay at the perfect temp, perfectly all the time.

Too cold and now too hot- UGH!
