Woo Hoo! Heavy snow 6-12 inches forecast for the Cascade foothills starting Friday night and continuing thru Sunday evening. Although odds are we will be on the low end of that number. But still 6 inches of snow would be awesome. DH already dug the sleds out...had to move them to get to the Christmas tree and lights.

This weekend it rained, so the xmas lights didn't get put up. Now we have snow forecast. I'm thinking this will be the first year ever that we don't get xmas lights put up.:rotfl2:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Lucky!!!

Yeah... thats what my husband says. After the appointment, we walked out to the car and he looked at me.. SEE! Now even the DOCTOR said you cant do sh*t!! He was thrilled. Even though it means more work for him, he gets so pissed when I do ANYTHING around the house, or shopping.. He wants me on the couch, with my feet up. THATS IT.

I should be grateful.. A lot of the women on the twin boards I go to have complete boneheads for husbands. Wont help, dont think its a big deal.. One even said he wouldnt go to her c-section.. :scared1: :scared1:

I like to believe in reincarnation and that those men will come back as women that go 2 weeks beyond their due date!

:thumbsup2 totally! Everytime I read one of their posts about what jerks their husbands are.. It blows my mind! Id like to see them with a giant kicking belly strapped on. :lmao:

:sad2: :sad2: I keep telling you ladies.. snow is NOT a GOOD thing! :sad2: :sad2:

:lmao: :lmao:

It is when you never get it. We havent had a REALLY good snow since Alex was a baby. I mean a REALLY good one. Where we got at least a foot or so, and it stuck around for a while.

Luckily I married one of the good ones! I just don't know what those ladies that marry jerks are thinking.

I'm watching a show on the Discovery Channel, Six for the Road. It's about a family that decided to sell their home, buy an RV and travel around with 4 kids. He sells butterflys & insects, works from home and she home schools the kids. It's kind of interesting and yet insane at the same time.:rotfl:

I know.. right? I dont get people sometimes.

I have seen that! Can you imagine being crammed in a motorhome with your family all the time?? Heck no. Someone would be dead.

Everything in moderation is a good thing.:thumbsup2 We don't get snow every winter so it's kind of special for us. Even when we do get snow it usually doesn't last long.

Plus it makes living on a hill so worth it.:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: I can sled right to the back door, then make the kids carry the sled back up the hill.:thumbsup2

I enjoy our trailer and it's really fun to go places, but I seriously would go crazy living with all the kids in that small of a place. Even when we go camping I usually take a couple of tents and send the kids outside to sleep. I've learned the really don't mind sleeping in a tent if you bring along electric blankets.:thumbsup2

Snow = cold = miserable

though here
snow = not so very cold + sunshine = melting snow+ overnight cold = ice = car accidents

It's an evil cycle.

Snowy winters are better, makes the famers happy .. makes the ski resorts happy (not that we have any real hills but hey bunny hills work )

makes the snowmobiliers happy.. makes the tavern owners happy... but now drunk snowmobilers makes the police and DNR unhappy

see snow is BAD

:thumbsup2

Yeah... I couldnt do it. Its a neat idea, all that travel. But I couod not live in such a cramped little place like that, with all that togetherness. Did you see how cluttered everything was??? :scared1: I would go bonkers! And I am by NO means a neat freak. Then the kids.. Oh my. I LOVE my kids. But to have them underfoot like that.. All the time? Nope. and my husband.. When I get in a bad mood, he is horrid to be around. He wants to cheer me up, and talk to me.. Whats wrong?? Can I help?? Blah, blah blah!! Just leave me ALONE!:lmao:

There's a guy named Gus that is taking a long road trip with his grandkids, big motor home/ RV.

And he's dialyzing with NxStage.

He's using the trip as a crusade to show center based dialysis patients that the machine can open up many doors to a new way of life. Stops at dialysis centers, gives a little speech, invites them into his RV to see the machine set up. He's also video taping and posting it on You Tube and various support boards. :goodvibes

Of course every once in a while we use the MONDO tent. It's a giant canvas tent that sleeps about 20 and has it's own woodstove.

We have seen those at Cabelas.. Frelan is like.. Now THATS how we should camp. :lmao: :lmao: Sorry bub. Motel 6 is about as rustic as I get. :lmao:

And then there is Extreme Girl. :scared1:
She's camping out in the woods, in a tent.. carried a gas powered generator, supplies and machine out in no where ville. Dialyzing in the wilderness.

Dedication, too much work for this family.. but we did discuss going to a state park, electric hookup this summer. ;)

I think I could do it, but it would require the right floor plan. Their new rv has a much better floor plan than the old one, but still I've seen much better floor plans for that many people. I kind of wonder why they always seem to be in the RV also. They must be "indoor" people. I would have them out hiking on trails, riding bikes and doing lots of outdoor stuff.

Not to mention that they make add on rooms that easily attach to the awning. That would give them an entire extra room for all their "stuff".

See, all they need is me to organize them.:lmao:
