Happy Turkey Day Hyenas!

My siblings are here and we've been cooking since 2:30pm. Our turkey won't be done for another hour or hour and a half. I just made a veggie tray of celery, carrots, small tomatoes and I also have a plate of cubed cheese (cheddar, swiss and pepper jack). I love pepperjack cheese I used my Braun handmixer and made mixed sour cream with some ranch dip mix for the veggies. Tastes really good.

My sister is making yams at the moment and creamed spinach. We printed out a bunch of recipes from the food network website. We are trying out different dishes of Tyler Florence, Paula Deen and Alton Brown.

Actually we are both posting, just thought we would confuse you. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, but as usual ate way too much.

Hiya Pix, dinner was excellent we had turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, yams, fruit salad, cranberries, olives, rolls, ham, veggies & dip, veggie cream cheese biscuit thingamabobber, cheese cake, lemon meringue pie, pumpkin pie.

Yes, you can probably use it to carry all of the leftovers to the fridge on.

Easily solved, just start a gravy IV and you'll be fine in about an hour.

I have no idea what the name of it is, but it was very tasty and I'm going to get the recipe. It was Pillsbury cresent roll dough spread in the bottom of a baking pan, then cooked. Then some sort of cream cheese, maybe sour cream also, ranch dip spread. Then on top were cut up broccoli, carrots & green onions sprinkled around. It was very good. Their neighbor made it so I'm going to have to get the recipe from her tomorrow.

It didn't have very much broccoli on it, and it was cut into tiny little pieces. It gave it more of a crunch rather than a veggie taste.

I'm not a fan of spinach but I hope the creamed spinach my bro is making tastes good. My mom used to trick us when we were little and use Popeye to try to influence us to eat it.
