Let's see, i'm on the computer, too (obviously); it's a laptop, and i'm in front of the tv. discovery channel is showing deadliest catch right now. it's an awesome show about crab fishing in the alaska waters, very dangerous work! it's a very entertaining show, but perhaps not appropriate for 9yos to watch?

is that right that you are a 4th grader/9yo? i have two boys, one is 8yo and the wild one is 4yo. we met alison, chelsea and cooper at disneyland last february. it was great to finally meet her in person after chatting online for a couple years.

we have been home all day today. yesterday we went to my husband's father's house for thanksgiving dinner. he and his wife have two little cockatiels (cute little birds) that apparently my ds4 is scared of. they were out of their cage and he didn't realize it as he played in the living room. then when he spotted them on the windowsill in the corner of the room he flipped out and started to climb up my leg.

i did feel kinda bad for him, but he was perfectly safe, and his reaction was kinda funny.

have you had dinner yet? i'm trying to think what to have. in fact, i'm surprised no one has come begging for food yet.

i should see if i have something quick i could whip up; otherwise might have to make a run to "hot Donald's" (that's what my ds4 calls mcdonald's) or maybe taco time ~ the boys love tacos!

oh cute! i just flipped channels on the tv, and ch.. 5 is showing a thanksgiving day parade in seattle.

whoops! they just had a group of scottish terriers in the parade, and one little guy stopped in the middle of the street to poop!!!

We ate out for lunch and now I'm back here eating leftovers. We were at Cabelas...it was crazy and totally packed full of people.

I'm sitting here on the computer eating some of your mom's cherry salad and eating a square of the cream cheese things. Mike is sitting watching the news and working on his scanner and everybody else is sitting at the table playing cards.
