I kicked Kewpin butt tonight. Went to JC Penney, the new one by where I work. They are so slow...you could shoot a cannon off in that place and I swear nobody would hear it. Anyway because they just opened and are trying to drum up business....when I walked in the door they were having a special......BLACK FRIDAY AD PRICES HONORED TODAY!!!!

Anyway I'm not sure if it was a Black Friday special or not, but it was a great buy. A really nice sterling silver 1/4 kt necklace, regular $319, after their sale price and all of my stacked coupons it was only $57! I'm sure my sister will love it!!! She's had a rough year and she deserves the finest my kewpin's can buy.

Nothing special going on here. I had a rather stressful and eventful day yesterday, so I (and my slightly freaked out husband) thought it might be in my best interest to stay home with my feet up today. So i did.. Until I went into some sort of hormonal fit and scrubbed the crap out of my kitchen. While bawling my eyes out. I think I might ACTUALLY be going crazy.

On the plus side.. My house is gradually getting cleaner. I did the living room a few days ago, the kitchen today.. A few more days, and it might be livable again.

Dh and I were watching TV today, and we saw this commercial. The woman was wrestling with this gigantic turkey.. Seriously Must have been 30 pounds or something. anyways.. She was trying to get it out of her sink, and couldnt get a grip on it. She dropped in on the floor.. and when she tried to pick it up... She heaved to hard, and and chucked it out the window. and Knocked her hubby right in the back of the head with it! OMG. We were DYING! I have never seen a funnier commercial!

yeah, i pretty much live in them in the summer. i have a birkenstock-like pair that i've had forever, though they're on their last legs. and i have several pair that for one reason or another are uncomfortable; you'd think i'd just toss those, but i still have them...

and i had this super comfortable pair that we got in hawaii at least 6 years ago; i wore those to death, and they finally broke when we went to ocean shores last august.
