she and my mom eventually met, and called themselves long lost sisters.

That's actually neat. Wow, I can't believe your DL trip is only 7 days away! So how long are you staying?

well.... we all leave next friday. dh will return the evening of the 10th, in order to have knee surgery the following morning.

the boys and i will return on sat. the 13th. i was pretty bummed at first, but i know dh's knee has been really killing him, so i feel petty for being bummed. looking on the bright side, the time alone with the boys will be a good sneak peek at what it would be like to take the boys to dl on my own.

i was thinking about a spring trip, either with both boys, or with just ds4 again. when i asked ds8 about a spring trip, at first he was excited, but them balked when i said we wouldn't be able to go on rides that ds4 couldn't ride. then he was bummed, and said he didn't want to go then.

so if things go well the last couple days of our stay, he may change his mind. and if they don't, then hopefully he won't have a problem with ds4 and me going by ourselves again.

I think it would probably be more of a Florida trip then a WDW trip. Probably spend a few days at my sister's house, hang at the beach and then maybe go to the waterparks. It definitely won't be a big expensive spend 1-1/2 weeks at WDW and stay on-site trip this time.

I'm just doing these real quick like. But you can set the area that you want distorted so everything else around it looks normal.

My bf and I bought Hellboy II on DVD and hadn't watched it yet. I watched it with my siblings and my cousin and we were all laughing. It's a good movie but not suitable for kids (it may scare them). My cousins were forced to bring their relative's son over and he's only 11 or 12 years old. He kept staring at the TV and then would get scared and ran away to the study. Then he kept peeking at the TV from around the corner, got scared again and ran away. I told him that if it's scary he shouldn't watch it. I didn't want him to get nightmares. I think the reason Hellboy 2 may scare children is because the monsters are similar to ones seen in Pan's Labyrinth (I think it was the same director).

That's funny, we rented it today (Redbox) and just finished watching it. And yep same director as Pan's. I think I liked this one better than the first Hellboy movie.

N is 12, he doesn't get scared of movies.. but it really depends on the kid. Nothing scares him, well maybe eating vegies does??

now we are watching Han .ock (guessing it won't let me spell that out)
