Another Ticket Question

I have an annual pass, so I am not up on the 'where to get a good deal on a ticket' stuff. I have friends going the second weekend in Dec. Where should they look for good prices on tix?

Depends on what kind of tickets.

I usually just get them directly from Disney (either by phone or website) and get the advance purchase savings.

People report saving a couple of dollars a ticket using 2nd hand ticket brokers, but I've never seen the savings be enough to not just "one stop shop" with Disney. The exception to this is sometimes short park hoppers (2-3 day), which sometimes those middle-man seller sites have at a decent discount on those. However, especially since MYW was introduced, you really can't do a heck of a lot better than officially getting them from Disney.

Good luck!

It all depends on what you want. For one- or two-day tix, my experience has been that the savings over direct sales from Disney are slim and none. For longer tix, they can be substantial. If you're in Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, E. Kansas, S. Illinois, S. Indiana or Texarkana, TX, try AAA online at ouraaa.com. They have good deals, but only for residents of those areas and on a somewhat limited selection of options. I've also gotten good deals at mapleleaftickets.com.

One important thing to remember when comparing prices is that some advertised prices include taxes and others don't. That can make a big difference, so check the fine print. I believe Maple Leaf Tickets posted prices include taxes
