Another split question(groceries)

We are planning a split stay in August and I wonder how they work refrigerated items?
We plan to use GG again but maybe it would just be easier to have delivery be on move/new check in day. We arrive Friday midday(DTD,) Saturday an early ADR then MK, then we move Sunday to AKL. I would just have delivery sunday to make it simple? I would have a day and a half of buying more drinks and snacks beyond what goes in suit case. Is it worth it or easy enough for bell services to move cold items?

Also, We have 5:30 ADR at 50s PT on move day. We plan to call bell services then head to DHS first thing and head over to AKL just after lunch(DH and Kids can head to pool or Mara if there is a wait/line.) We do not unpack so thats not an issue but I wonder if I should move 50s later just to feel more relaxed? We have another DHS day later in the trip.

We did a split stay back in January with the first 3 days at SS and the last 5 days at WL. With regard to groceries, the bellhops (whatever they call them at Disney) moved all of the food for us, even the refrigerated stuff. We didn't even have to pack it up! And it was all still cold, placed in the new fridge and fine when we got there. Just ask and they will oblige.

January is different than August. Bell Services will transfer your groceries and refrigerate at the new resort but it will not be refridgerated during the loading and transfer. We did a Bell Services transfer last year when it was very hot and our salad stuff was all wilted when we got it at our 2nd resort.

The trip before that, they lost one bag of groceries and we had to wait forever in our room while they searched for it. Now we know to just take a cab and transfer our stuff ourselves.

Thanks, might stick with original plan to just have gg deliver on Sunday. It's not a big deal to wait, nothing we need immediatly
