Another Southwest ?

Our trip is from Nov 27 to Dec 3. Right now, I can get $79 tickets on the way home. Going there, this price is not available. Is it because we are flying out on a Monday and coming home on a Sunday? Should I wait and see if the cheapers tickets become available, or just book now in case the price goes up? Thanks.

Your flight on Monday is right after Thanksgiving Weekend. If you can't find a cheaper round-trip on another airline, then book it now. If the price does go down, which is doubtful, you would be able to get the lower fare and have the balance applied to a future flight on Southwest.

BUY SOON! I don't think you can expect a sale around that weekend. If anything expect prices to go up and flights to sell out!
