Another sad ending for a missing girl

I didn't see another thread about this, but a 12 year old girl went missing in NJ on Sat and sadly they think they found her body.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of this young girl...this town is only 30 minutes from our home...hard to accept this happening in our sleepy little part of the state.

I heard about it on Sat from a friend on FB. I use to live in South Jersey and know a lot of people from down that way. After I saw it on FB there I did see it on MSNBC too. It is so sad to hear yet another story like this.

I cannot imagine how her parents must feel this morning. They will be in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day.

Twelve years old. Just a baby, really. I want to cry when I think about how terrified she must've been, and how she suffered.

I had read about this on a friends FB. It breaks my heart and I cannot imagine how horrible this must be for the family! So sad to think she just jumped on her bike to go visit a friend and never came home again.

Why can't our children be safe in this world and not be preyed upon. You can not let your children out of your sight for a moment without worry. It is a sick monster that did this and pray this person/s will be brought to justice and never to see the light of day again. How heartbreaking.

They seem to be holding two brothers, 15 and 18, in custody. Her bike was found in their home, a few houses down from where her body was found.

Well, they just announced during the press conference that the two teen brothers have been arrested and charged with Autumn's murder. It seems they lured her to their house to steal her bike for bike parts.

I can only hope that her death was some horrible accident and that nothing worse was done to her.
