Your presidential style most resembles that of the twenty-eighth president of the U.S., Woodrow Wilson. A scholar and former president of Princeton University, Wilson is known for creating many landmark public policies. He also helped create the League of Nations, which eventually became the United Nations. Although Wilson had to lead the nation into World War I, he was generally a peace loving man who had witnessed first-hand the horrors of war.

You also are a good negotiator and able to appeal to both extremes. Like Wilson, you have the ability to compromise and negotiate fair terms. This is an invaluable skill for a leader to possess and one that goes far in achieving goals. Although your policies don’t skate by without a little rearrangement, they generally do get by.

This ability to appeal to both sides also gives you very high public opinion. People see you as a reasonable person.

You are a pragmatic leader and understand what has to be done. Although you do not like war and violence, you know that it is sometimes necessary to protect the nations best interests and maintain worldwide stability. You will make every attempt to maintain neutrality and negotiate peace. And when aggression is mandated, your goal is not to win but to achieve peace.

Quizzy night tongiht!

Oooh, I love this quiz, since mine turned out to be my most favorite president:

Your presidential style most resembles that of the twenty-eighth president of the U.S., Jimmy Carter. A former peanut farmer and graduate of Annapolis Naval Academy, Carter was an advocate of peace and human rights. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.

It's cold here (and was snowing earlier) and my kids are in bed, so there's not much better to do :)

Yeah Baby... Ronald Wilson Reagan!

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!!!!!"

cindysteve, we've got a Reagan, a Carter, a few Wilsons, and a Hayes (for some reason, I can only think of one Hayes off the top of my head.)

I also got a Wilson...........I think there's a joke in there somewhere.....

Historical tidbit:

President Hayes' wife Lucy (or Lemonade Lucy as the press called her because she refused to serve alcohol in The White House) was the very first President's wife to be referred to as "The First Lady".

I got Jimmy Carter too. He's a wonderful man who I admire greatly.

BUT! How can Woodrow Wilson and Jimmy Carter both be the 28th President?

That's cool...I knew the "Lemonade Lucy" thing, but not the fact that she was the first one referred to as the First Lady.

Your presidential style most resembles that of Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt believed the government should take whatever action necessary to promote the best interest of the people.. Although he believed the government should not necessarily take sides in disputes between industry and labor, he did encourage the labor movement.

I always liked ol' TR. :teeth:

I think calling Carter the 28th president was a mistake (probably a typo....wasn't he 38th?)

So we've got a lot of Carters and a lot of Wilsons on this board.....They were both peacemakers...one was someone who wanted the world to be united and at peace and the other was a humanitarian....Interesting.

Teddy isn't so bad. I guess it could be worse.
