okay.....there are a lot of rides that involve water of some sort at US/IOA. should i try to get DH to wear tevas?
I have crocs and tevas for myself. i figure we will dry off if we get wet, but i dont want squishy feet all day.
any other shoe suggetions.

Crocs or Tevas are a great idea. I always wear Havaianas, they're inexpensive, easy to wash, come in a gazillion colors and the straps never cause me to get "raw" sore spots on the tops of my feet like some flip flops do. I probably have 15 pairs of them, at least.

I've never heard of Havaianas before. What makes them more comfortable than regular flip-flops? I wear Tevas that I've had for years. They're in need of being replaced, but they're not inexpensive. I'd love a cheaper alternative, but flip-flops have always hurt my feet. They rub in between my toes & the top of my feet raw. (I especially hate the way they feel between my toes.) For that reason, I've always worn sandals with straps instead. Cheap & comfy flip-flops would be great though, if I could find some I would wear.

My DH and I love Reefs! They are really cushy and have an air cushion heel. You can walk in them all day. Not that you will need it for the parks but they have a bottle opener on the bottom.

Havaianas are softer and more flexible than other flip flops. I love flip flops, but have always had the same problem as you've had with them rubbing the top of my feet raw. One of my cousins promised me that Havaianas wouldn't do that, and she was right.

OK first I have to tell you I just spent an obscene amount of time playing on that Havaianas website! Its a very well done site. I am now interested in purchasing a few different pairs, some are so cute! I like the ones with heels. I also liked the applique ones too and a few plain ones in great colors. I just hope they are comfortable for me.

My choice of shoe for forever has been this. Merrell Belluna, I have this style in 3 different colors, they are ultra comfortable and dry quick! I love them.

I get them wherever I can find them! Sometimes Sports Authority stocks them for a short period. I do very well on Ebay mostly.

I've got those!!! They are great. I can't wear normal flip flops but those are very comfortable. Mine are a light grey with a light blue.
