Another Question-After you send in $500 Deposit?

If I decide to purchase DVC would send me the paperwork and I return it with $500 deposit? Also, the remaining down payment, is that paid at this point or when the contract actually closes?

I would also like to know the samething What if I supply them with a credit card for the 500$ how long before the charge is actually applied? Let's say I buy in today and give them my credit card number for the 500$ when will the charge come through on our account?

I do know you can have 60 days to pay the remaining down payment.

We purchased 50 points from Disney. Our paperwork was dated February 3, 2005, and that's the date of the deposit, and the rest of the payment was due February 18, 2005.

SSR Closing dates depend on when your building is finished. It should be in the paper work. I want to say that closing is within 2-3 weeks of the buiilding in question being finished.

MIne was closing date when the rest was charged. My guide told me when it would happen.

We are in the process of doing an add-on. The paperwork says the rest of the down-payment was due Feb 12(when we were supposed to send the paperwork back by) I called and asked for an extension. We won't be able to get the papers signed and notorized until at least the 26th, so I want to wait until we sign before we pay the rest.

Accounting said no problem. Hope this helps.

yes-I believe so. We put our 500 down on St over the phone. It cleared on Monday. We got our package with all the papers and gifts on Tues. We made reservations today -Wed. We have to send a check for the remaining deposit in with our paperwork. Did I answer the question?? I hope so!

I just wasn't sure how the money and deposits were handled. I watched a slide show of SSR on Allearsnet and the resort looks beautiful. I'm so excited!! Hopefully I'll be everyones neighbor real soon.

Keep in mind that the incentive ends on Feb. 28th. So if you are really serious about buying at SSR, I would get moving to save $10/point. I called, gave CC# for $500 deposit. It was immediately applied. Paperwork arrived a few days later. It says return in 7 days, but my guide said not to worry about it, as there is so much there to read through, she prefers people to take their time. She said she even has some who haven't returned papers for up to 90 days. Our papers say the offer will expire in 60 days from the original date.

LOL! SSR is where we just bought and it is the only resort we haven't seen! We've even stayed at OKW, VWL, and BCV before! Did a day visit to BWV, but SSR I've only seen pictures of!
